I have a little over 100 hours played and thought I would share my thoughts on the game so far. Every zone is huge and gives you the feeling of adventuring and exploring. The detail that went into the each zone is impressive. Also, I really enjoy the dynamic events and hearts in each zone. I was never a huge fan of quest hubs so the randomness of what to do in a zone is nice. WvWvW is fun but I would like to see it expanded some. At times it becomes nothing more than a huge zergfest. I am sure Anet will change WvWvW for the better, so I will leave my comments on WvWvW at that. I am a huge fan of harvesting nodes in this game. Never have to worry about someone stealing your node while you are fighting. My only significant complaints with the game are the weapon skills, creature diversity and the dragon encounters. I like the traits fine but the preset skills dependent on a weapon isn't very appealing to me. It wouldn't be as bad if the skills upgraded or something. I have unlocked all my weapon skills but only ever use the same combination of my 2 weapon sets. The other skiils just aren't as useful. Creature diversity is another thing that bothers me. I am not a fan on mobs being used multiple times throughout the game. A couple times here and there is alright. Also, I don't consider a alpine bear and a bear as a different mob. The only difference is one is white and the other is brown. The use of undead versions of everything is alright because it goes along with the story line. Changing the name and color of a mob to resuse it later is a design shortcut in my opinion and it detracts from the gameplay. The dragon encounters are my only big disappointment with the game so far. I have faced 3(2 open world and 1 story). The dragons look incredible but the encounters were kind of a joke. The dragon was pretty static in all three encounters and wasn't a challenge. The dragon encounters should be much more difficult than they are. As an example, the zone event in the Mount Maelstrom volano was much better. Overall I really enjoy the game and think Anet has designed a solid base of a game. I am excited to see how the game evolves.

Originally posted by Scorp2778 Yeah, those have been my only significant complaints so far too (well, aside from the annoying "camera smoothing" that some of us are experiencing.) The weapon skill thing specifically disappoints me. I like the options with traits and options for the other skill set, but yeah, being so much more limited with the weapon skills themselves gets a tad boring after awhile. In fact, ever since I've started playing GW2, I've been more and more tempted to fire up my TSW account again. I like the large amount of skills available for each weapon, and I hope Anet decides to do something similar with multiple skill options for their weapons in the future. "Welcome to Moonside.
