Hello everyone. I'm a new player on this game and I really want to try it because I liked the gameplay , the characters design...everything. But when I want to register they said that I need a service account.

So what I am asking. Is there a way to get cd key ? I mean for free ? is there a way to play the game without cd key ? Please I need informations...because I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME... :(

@ OP:  there is no "free" it is a pay to play game with a subscription.

Damn it...I wish if I can play this game... How about Buddy passes ? is there anyway to get it for free ? A friend told me that only people who purchased the collectors edition can receive buddy passes , is that true ?

Is it crashing before or after you log in, and was the game patched correctly?

You should also try the Benchmark to see if your computer can run the game correctly : http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/download/benchmark01.html (even if you pass the benchmark, it doesn't garanty that your computer can run the game, but at least it's a decent indicator)

Else you might need to reinstall.

Keep in mind that this game is about to get a huge overhaul. If for some reason you have issues with it or don't like certain things the game will be changing. Supposedly for the better.

Are you trying to run it on a laptop? FFXIV and some laptops don't get along well.

Yeah , but I already fixed my problem. So don't worry I just updated my graphic divers and it worked fine without any problem.

By the way the game is great but I just got some little lags in city town because there's a lot of people.
