The Team balancing in Hot Join for SPvP is bad. After they balance teams at the beginning of the match, they have to have a 1-2 minute period of preparation. This will allow the people who want to leave to be able to leave while giving sufficient time for replacements to be queued and entered into the teams. They need to offer players an option to join again for the next match, or opt out. That way, ANOTHER system can be put in place that penalizes people who leave a match early - or even better - disallow people from leaving a match when it is in progress. I would also suggest getting rid of the sharks on Raid of the Capricorn. Personally, I could do without water but I doubt that will ever happen. Finally - I think they should stick to the Tournament format and have 5v5 format for hotjoin. The reason being is because the game was designed around 5v5. 8v8 is a clusterf*** and people are taking advantage of this by starting to focus on AOE builds. Its becoming SWTOR and WAR pvp all over again, where you can die without being targeted. Frustrating as hell to say the least.

I agree. Currently a balanced 5v5 match is the exception, not the rule. You're always going to have some problems with hot join, but there are still some measures they can put in place to lessen the negative impacts.
