you see the listings for this? insane... currently 5522356 listings.. next highest is showing 892449 which is iron ore.. anyone know why soft wood log has over 5 million listings and the next highest isn't over 1 million? Artificer/huntsman/weaponsmith the most popular tradeskills perhaps? i dunno
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

You get 4 logs in trees, 3 in rocks. There are MUCH more trees than rocks. |

It's a combination of things. There's a lot of wood and ore compared to leather or cloth, but.... A LOT more things use ore. In comparison, hardly any recipes use much wood. That means inevitably, people will have lots more spare wood. There's no armor type that uses wood to make. :P |

i have an overabundance of soft wood logs and iron ore. In fact, those are the only two items that have overflowed from my collegction tab into my regular bank. I think the collection tab holds 250. I have used none of either though in crafting yet, as I have been cooking. I think I am up to ~400 of so wood logs and ~300 iron ore.

Anet must quickly add a "camping" feature to the game so you can setup a campsite and get some 10-15 min buffs for lounging around for a while, maybe allow cooking there too. Putting the camp up should use tons of wood :) ... Actually I just want to setup a campsite on mah conquered mountain :(

Originally posted by Aerowyn It means that the vast majority of players are just past the crafting level that requires use of soft wood logs and now they no longer need them and are dumping them on the market.
If you are below the level requiring use of soft wood logs, now would be a good time to stock up on what you'll need! |

I want to personally thank the developer for creating this item. The amount of innuendos and references using Soft Wood in chat never gets old from folks.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |
