The Secret World's site has been updated with a new article to detail the group finder tool that will arrive when "Issue 2: Digging Deeper" goes live on September 11th. The tool will allow players to group for any playfield or dungeon in the game. You find the tool in your Menu or by clicking Shift + C. Here you can either browse and look for other people who want to do the same thing as yourself, or you can sign up and show yourself as available for the content you want to play. When signing up you choose the playfield or dungeon you would like to play in, which difficulty you would like and which role you can fill in the group. Nice. Just started TSW a couple weeks ago and am really enjoying it. What other game lets you specify more than one role (Tank/DPS/Heal) in a team like that?! Its not certain anyone will invite you EVER so people will just keep spamming chat like always. Been in a few mmo's who had this kind of group finder, almost no one used it and some quickly developed a dungeon finder after because the group finder wasnt used. They should just hire rift devs to make a dungeon finder for them

If someone doesn't use them, then fine, but some people will find them usefull. Complaining that adding Finder to TSW is not innovative is like complaining that 'omg, they added healing to game' or 'omg, there are dungeons in game, this is sooo old idea'.
