If you are already: 1) Bored 2) Complaining about not being led by the nose by a gear grind 3) Stating you were banned and you were "inncocent" 4) Whatever
Hurry up and leave so server populations will normalize and WvW queues shorten. I am waiting to see what WvW looks like when all the servers are less popoulated and only those who are serious about WvW are left. WoW is waiting for you fellas.......I am hearing great things about MoP. |

Hmm watch out with number 2.. I'm level 80 , i played a LOT i know, I enjoyed the game but don't say people who seeks gear grind get out.. This game is all about gear grind at 80
every Piece of armor is 42k karma, or crafting with a abusive amount of mats, so be ready to grind. The best way to get karma is doing event loops in a level 75 zone. doing the same events over and over..
I like the game , I do not mind the grind.. But there is grind trust me. and A LOT of it. I just hope they are right on what they said and once i'm over this grind they won't just apply a near patch with better gear.. |

Would be nice not to have a queue. We didn't use to on my server but now it can take like an hour to get in WvW :/
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

Why would you want people to leave? Once everything is settled, the microtransactions will be the only thing keeping the servers running. Less people, less microtransactions, less money. Trust me, you don't want GW2 to end up like GW1, especially since NCSoft does not fuck around. They've shutdown more successful games for less.

It depends on how many you need. If you go for exotic (best gear ) it takes 42k karma per piece + 63k for weapons. That is still a LOT even with WvW

Originally posted by Pouf You are certainly correct, the legendary gear has some serious mat requirements. However, it isnt necessary to acquire these items in the near term. Look at the stats (lets use the beserker jewelry as an example) and see the difference from green --> yellow --> orange. The stats are not hugely different. I can acquire a full set of lvl 80 gear relatively quickly and be fine. My point is that this gear grind is more pve oriented and has no effect on PVP. When I have read others complaining, they were almost always looking for a PVP gear grind that rewards them with advantages. |

People simply whine that they want something different, and then complain that something is to different. " I want to log on and do awesome stuff not kill kobolds all day with 1 spell". Gw2 adresses this and people complain that they get their skills to quickly and the epic stuff isn't so epic because it happens all the time. "I want a game where I don't have to grind and is more skill oriented". Again, Gw2 adresses this and people complain that they want advantages over others for playing longer, regardless of how bad they are at the game.

Originally posted by demonic87 Personally cant I wait to start farming for "Twilight", the epic sword. 200 skill points, 20 gold and you need 2 crafting skills maxed out, it is the most awesome weapon I ever seen ina MMO. And yes, it will take a lot of grinding, but what would be the point to have something every slob can get easily? But the thing is that I dont have to grind 5 other tiers before being able to grind it at least so it could be worse. |

Originally posted by Maephisto Legitimate complaint. GW2 zealots reaction? "GET OUT! IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT WE LIKE, GET OUT!". I wonder how that WvW will pan out when you have 12 people playing. Not an actual number, using it to make a point. Yet another case for the "classy" GW2 community... That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming! |
Originally posted by Loke666 I am not complaining about the existence of WvW queues, I just want them to be a little less than they are now. I'll admit, I get a little angry after waiting for a couple of hours for a queue to pop, just to zone into the citadel and see 30+ people sitting around AFK. My guild is apart of a pretty solid alliance and we dont want to walk away from that. However, if a lot of the unguilded/unaffiliated players were to leave and stop gumming up the works......that would be great. I am assuming some of the people sitting around AFK in the citadel are the same people I listed in my OP. (just a hunch that I have) |

Originally posted by TwoThreeFour Yes, and it will most likely be like that but I dont think people really have gotten much server pride 8 days after release. Jumping on and off servers all the time is bad, but finding the right one the first month is no real problem. |
