Its really odd how things went from stress test and BWEs working fine to FUSTERCLUCK on release. ANet really had no idea it was going to be this popular ? It just seems so odd that they were not better prepared, if its this bad with just us pre-purchasers, WTF is going to happen on the 28th ? Lolipops ! |

At least they let us in early from 9:30PM onward. I'm not gonna rage or get upset since they did allow us to play a few hours early and they are doing a pretty good job. Smoothest launch I've been in yet.

well i got to play for almost 7 hours with only 3 disconnects i consider that a rather good 1st launch day.
WvWvW is so much fun. Nice to see seige equipment is worth the hassle.

I'd imagine they are getting seriously swamped from the EU and early risers on the Eastcoast. It is still summer vacation and a Saturday to boot. I need sleep anyway, but damn I was having a hella fun time. |

So here is my thoughts on all of this. OBVIOUSLY they were not so prepared for how popular this was going to be. I do not think that they had this many people playing in all the betas or stress tests, so this is why the servers went arj df;aghdfsgdg. Do you guys agree or disagree?

They are unable to keep their servers stable, oh well. I will just play some TSW(At least that gane was playable during headstart/Launch ^^ )

Don't you love MPOG. I was thinking my firewall had messed up... server down I am guessing. So far so good though. I was logging in very easily. Jacked up the graphics and still getting 40fps on my laptop. Graphics is definitely ramped up from Beta weekends to. The centaurs looked so much better. Grabbing the names you want is tough though. I got close enough but even logging in early I lucked out
