I have seen a few complaints about control or lack of responsiveness and I find it shocking. It's one of the things I thought was great. It felt as responsive as (The gold standard on here) WoW used to. May be heavily tied into lag? Not sure, but I thought it was, frankly, amazing.

However, I agree about the voices. They weren't by any means horrible but my imagination always does a better job, so I was looking for a way to just turn them off with no luck. I think a toggle for certain voices and particle effects would make a huge difference for me.

pretty much looks like my first hour in the game.  it took me a little adjustment to get used to the controls as i thought they felt a bit sluggish as well..  not fully accustomed to it but its a good game and worth sticking it out to see how it goes.

i remember feeling the same thing going from WOW to Rift though and i got used to it there.  or the devs worked on it, no idea.

I use the hearts as 'guides' of sorts as to where i should go. Looking at a big empty map doesn't tell you much where to find some action, but more often than not i find DE's around them. Doesn't hurt to DO the hearts either, as they give you some goodies for doing so.

I actually enjoy the couple of stories and voices I played so far but overall I can see people not liking them.. it is good it's not the central focus of the game(think solo story should never be center focus of a MMO) though so people that don't care for them have many other methods of enjoying the game. Also find the story instance parts so far much more interactive than the solo instance parts of swtor.. at least in the earlier areas

Odd thing though going back and watching some footage of swtor i find i enjoy the voice acting and dialouge more in GW2 in many cases.. although still love jennifer hale as the trooper

As for the hearts, I plan to use them sort of like I would use any completion set like map % discovered, etc.

Maybe some voice overs aren't the best but the endless monologues of TSW are NOT the way to go imo.

Camera movement might feel a little sluggish but increasing mouse sensitivity in options helped me a lot.

I agree on the voice part by the way, but I think there is an option in the sound settings to turn voice off so you just have the subtitles.

I didn't make up anything... Like some do in other forums *cough you* I did ask tough questions and respond to what was presented in threads created by others.

Sorry, but I don't post opinions about games I didn't even play myself, unlike you did on the GW2 forums. I also prefer contributing to communities of games I play rather than try to pee in the cherios of forums of games I don't even play. Every single line I wrote (for instance) about TSW result from my own experience during a very long time in closed beta (the one you could play 24/24 7/7 and not just during events), it did not make up stuff just for the sake of hating like you did before this.

You reminded me the people who are like "dang, that movie sucks" - "did you see it?" - "errr nope...". Welcome to the club of better informed people... who knows, if you open your mind a bit more, you may even have fun playing GW2... ;-)

Didn't you say WvW was P2W before it was proven not to be?  It was a week ago since you last said it, so my memory is hazy...
