That is what I read as well. Can't report a damn thing before people state "everything else has bugs", "this is what it is supposed to be like" and all that non-sense. Unless the OP or others are pain out lying, it is what it is fanboy or not, deal with it.

I can say this beta was nothing close to what GW1's was. Also I believe they went against, "it will be released when it's ready", which to me means they have 99.9% of everything set and tested out. To me they are still scrambling. Does this make the game a fail? No. But in my opinion it's reporting honestly what is going on. We all should be able to deal with that.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about. They had all of the bugs out of this build before this test was even over. They dropped major GPU changes on this patch and you can tell by the performance gains. Their debug and implementation method appears very strong. As a former software tester, its not hard to see that these guys are kicking the tires pretty hard. As far as stress tests go, I have felt much better about these last few as opposed to some other games I have tested in recent times. I have never been an ArenaNet fan and didn't care for the first Guild Wars. If you had asked me 2 years ago if I was going to play this game I would have told you, "Hell no." This game has shaped up, much to my dismay, to be something exciting and polished. Can't wait for Saturday.

I had 0 problem during this stress test, didnt see any bugs, no lag either, but I must say, ive only played sPvP. Also, I had a blast! xD

That sounds good. It's the point of if there are issues and you are honest about them, I don't see why they have to be attacked as "it's ok", "it's normal". No one was jumping off cliffs, just stating there was work to do. Most hope it all goes well I'm sure.

i'm happy for people to share issues what I'm trying to get across is many were fixed by the end of the stress tests.. also so many in here see this as doomsday because of some bugs in a stress tests which mostly were fixed by the end of it ... Not to mention many I have never even heard of or seen throughout all the BWEs so in turn is most likely due to the stress test

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. didn't have a single issue accept one tiny disconnect. I have noticed there are a rash of posters in these forums who have claimed to have huge issues with this title during testing but haven't done a single thing they've expressed to the public very visibly to do before launching the game.

Port forwarding, app forwarding, antiviral disabling or setup to allow the new game to have access are VERY common themes in every game launch. It's really not that hard.

Once i did all these things, my game has no issues. :)

Yea I dont get it, people dont understand that they push maybe 2x the amount of peeople per server? They try to crash the servers on purpose so they can lure out the bugs and fix it so it will never happen when the game has launched. 

 

Did anyone run into the "Jump skill insta death" in the last stress test? Hammer burst skill on warrior, the sword jump skill. They resulted in insta death. OMG They havnt even finished the skills WOOT.

The problems I have experienced that WERENT there on previous tests are:

1) leap/movement abilites all bugged. Eviscerate causes all players/mobs/npcs to disappear until you move then they reappear, savage leap causes instant death. Other movement abilites such as the ranger sword 2(cant remember name) teleport you all over the map

2) no indicator for party members on map, even when you are standing next to one another. 

3) groups are no longer kept together when going to overflow servers

4) wierd bugs in WvW where you get killed on teleporting into the zone by random NPC invaders, but if you move they disappear

5) Email authentication bug. System keeps asking you to authenticate you email even after you have already done so

6) Forums and account page down

 

Come on ANet, get it together. The previous stress tests were flawless! I blame the Spanish (Spanish localisation was introduced for this test)

It's meant to be like this its a stress test it's not a pre launch beta preview

I'm actually curious as to if they intentionally broke the action so as to test the stress of their /bug network similar to their stress test on their login change network. Regardless, everything was indeed fixed by the end of the last stress test. I logged on my guardian to test the abilities and they fired off without a hitch.
