1. You don't play WoW for the leveling experience, but for the endgame ditto.
2. You don't play GW2 for the endgame experience, but for the leveling ditto.
Apples and oranges are hard to directly compare. I know, cause I tried it once, and then I took a pill and was happy again. |

WoWs quest in general with few handful of exceptions are shallow, mindnumbing and simply lackluster. Smashing 10 Basilik heads in different hues like any bot could do with ease is just one of countless examples. Everyone knows that. Even those who enjoy and havent quit yet, though of course they would never want to admit it. We know that even when the WoW fanbois in denial rush after everyone who expresses their opinion and toughts about it. GW2 events in general are vastly superior to you general WoW quest(chain). In design, gameplay value, longlivety, but also in polish. We know that. Everyone can see that with their bare eyes. They are visibly at least two steps ahead. We know that. Even when the WoW fanbois try to claim they are at the same level as their retarded games generic questgrind. Its obvious. But who cares? GW2 wont become any less fun, whether anyone thinks or agrees WoWs quest are bad or denies it. WoW is an irrelevant factor to this MMORPGs gameplay, like it is to almost any other. You think WoWs content design is cheap and shallow? Great you arent completely deluded and willfully ignroant like some other individuals. But this is the GW2 forum. Go complain about WoW in the WoW forum. Why bother what is wrong with another cheap game, when GW2 already offers a solution and is beyond the first steps to fix it. Arenanet already learned from the failure and by any rational means undeniably improved upon it. Why continue to bother about the failure? The learning effect is gone. WoW was released in 2004! In 2004! Hmm, now it is 2012. WoW was released in 2004. 2012-2004 = 8 years! Yes, WoW was released 8 years ago. Do you know what you had to do in MMOs before WoW? You killed stuff. That was the only way to level. Kill stuff over and over and over again. You killed stuff at level 1, you killed stuff at level 100. WoW at least give you 3-4k quests to give you some background story and overall made it much more enjoyable. I am sure a lot of people here will disagree and will say that grinding for hours at ONE spot killing the SAME mobs OVER and OVER and OVER again was fun. I am sure GW2 will make you do an epic quest at level 79.5 like picking up daisies cause killing is sooooooooooo level 1. |

There are different path ways for the events but once you've done all the pathways (and there aren't many, like 2-3 per event) then people will just be as bored of dynamic events as normal quest text ones.
Questing/Dynamic stuff in GW2 isn't what people should be looking forward to, it's slightly more replayable than average quests, but after an alt or two you will have done all the pathways.
PvP is where GW2 shines, as long as people are excited for this then they will love GW2. |

so the zone giving you a quest to kill to basilisks is going to be better than an npc giving you a quest to kill 10 basilisks .. how exactly? LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity. |

I'm calling bullshit on this while post...lol. After reading this guys previous post, it OBVIOUS he doesn't play WoW... It is also obvious he hates WoW and blizzard. That would make this post pure and untamed trolling at its finest. He even says: "Poor WOW players, they aren't just sad enough to pay 15 a month for hot garbage, but they overpay for the pac too."
Doesn't sound like somene about to hit 85.... Sounds like someone bored and waiting for Gw2 flaming to me... |

yea that's super awesome .. guy didn't even take a single point of damage fighting the super awesome dynamic bear event. as i've said plenty of times, it is a step in the right directions, but posts like the OP here are just delusional. LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity. |
