very true. but it also shows what they're aiming at in terms of tone and whatnot. little bit of action. little bit of humor. so yeah. kung fu panda. ... well whatever works for you, blizzard.

Pretty cool until the Panda showed up, then it got kinda cheesy. Not hating on the pandas, I have no issue with them, just that cinematic sequence.
I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil |

I am in sheer awe at the realistic graphics of that cinematic. Only thing close would be the SWTOR ones. WoW's gameplay is WoW's gameplay but jeez, sometimes you just admire the technical masterpiece for what it is. :) Wonder why there seems to be more haters on the internet? Read this by an actual marketing guy to find out why. |

Why...sharped a pole just to hold it sideways when a heavy orc jumps down on you...come on even 10 out of 10 cheesy holywood movies would have seen the oportunity to spear himw ith it as he lands :)
And the fluid martial arts that the Panda displayed...surely looks to fit a static tab-target game :) |

I liked it. Maybe the game needs some more fun. Nothing wrong with that. The game came out in 2004 and we're still comparing new releases to it. Not too many games get cinematic trailers 8 years after release.
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game. |

It's good untill the panda starts doing it's kung fu garbage... The cinematic has action and a bit of humor and it's kinda good, but that kung fu just ruins the whole cinematic for me. I'm still waiting for that WoW movie! Anyone got any news about it? "Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life."  |

Those cinematics are great but always full of lies. You can't have an 1v1v1 fight between a human, an orc and a pandaren (it would be awesome if you could)
