Wargaming.net has announced that Japanese aircraft carrier-based planes will be included in World of WarPlanes. Players will be able to access Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero, Nakajima Type 91, Mitsubishi J4M1 Senden interceptor fighter, and Kyushu J7W1, J7W2 and J7W3, three canard configuration prototypes that never saw combat. Players will not control the carrier.

Japanese World War II aircraft garnered a fearsome reputation amongst Western nations, namely due to their combination of speed and power. Their exceptional horizontal maneuverability made them extremely nimble in combat, while their impressive array of armaments made them deadly in any engagement. Japanese warbirds also typically benefitted from increased field of vision which gave pilots ample views around their aircraft.

Huh????  Japanese planes were highly manuverable, but speed and power, ah not so much.  If you wanted to get away from a Zero you climbed.

That was specific to the f4f carrier plane which was not exactly a speed demon.  Next time you might read what you quote.
