Three of the four things you say are simply just wrong.  You DID get "no raids" right though....congratulations.

I wouldnt say that I hate the game. Hate is a strong word. Not a fan is a better way to descrbibe it.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on the game and give a different perspective besides all the rah-rah stuff which only gets heard. People have a right to know the truth about the game.

Don't get me wrong, I have pre-purchased andam looking forward to the game. I was just wondering if his "opinion" was being confused as "minsinformation". If that makes sense. So that is what I was REALLY asking.

I saw your post with all the video links. Great work btw. But I have chosen to try to do the minimum of pre-release game investigating so that I can begin playing fresh. I'm sure I'll "crack" and start researching when the 25th approaches...heh.

2 is mininformation because WvW isn't the only type of PvP. sPvP exists and is not a zergfest (unless you consider a zergfest 5v5 with 3 capture points).

On top of that, there are various ways to play in WvW. If you choose to join the zerg, it will be a zergfest. But they have Sentinels that can be soloed, supply camps that can be taken by 2+ people and you can actually roam around with a small group and get a lot accomplished for your side.

3 is misinformation because even the class with the least amount of skills available to it in combat has 16 unique skills. Some of the classes have a lot more ranging from 16 to about 45 in combat skills.

4 is fine because, like he says, it's not pay to win. Of course he is unable to tell the future, so that last part of number 4 is just bullshit.

Saying that the cash shop is P2W and that the PvP is just a zerg is complete misinformation. Saying that they 'removed raids' is misinformation since they never intended to have raids at any point. Him thinking that the endgame isnt very good because it doesnt have the raids is an opinion.

I don't understand people like the OP. ArenaNet have been open and honest about every single component of their game from the start. If he needs to have raids, why even preorder to begin with? Everyone knew they wouldnt have a gear grind in this game, you only have to look at GW1 to know what to expect from endgame.

PvP basically consists of running around in zergs and punching gates for hours on end for no reason.  There is no actual purpose to GW2 pvp. No ladders, rankings, and no way to build a rep because you are given a generic name so nobody knows who you are.

4. No endgame- GW2 endgame= the same stuff you were doing since level one since "everything is endgame". Once you hit 80 there is nothing to do which provides actual character progression anymore.

I really wanted this game to succeed and be great but I cant lie to myself. The fact is that GW2 is shallow and generic. Its more elves and orcs fantasy that we have seen a million times. GW2 is really just WoW minus raids and sub fees. Luckily TSW's excellent stories and atmosphere which is unique and difficult will be able to tide me over until Planetside 2 launches which will be the next big MMO that revolutionizes the genre.
