Out of those 57 pages how many posts list things that are available after level 80. Why still ask the question when you have been answered over and over?
rpg/mmorg history: Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW (9500 hrs on main mage)> oblivion > LOTR (480 Hunter) > Rift (230 hours mage) > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(350 elementalist) Now playing GW2/Diablo 3/Rift Waiting Archeage. |

So from that there I will say the vast majority of the gaming community disagrees with you. As far as numbers, just a hunch we will find out soon. New sig underlined btw. Can we in this now or if you like take it to the TSW forums? You can have the last word. DamonVile- Games built for disposable players are now apparently built by disposable employees. |

Originally posted by bcbully Only those 700 on metacritic can well be the same 500 that voted here. That makes the game playable by 700 gamers, a really enormous number really. And 41 critics gave TSW just a mere 72%, what's your point? Block the trolls, don't answer them, so we can remove the garbage from these forums |

Soo, TSW has end game, swtor has endgame, but besides all the time people have spent trying to explain the end game, the conclusion is that gw2 is the first game in the history of mmorgs to have no end game. Wait, does gw2 exist? Im gonna start a thread called 'is ge2 vapourware'

Although I do grasp the concept, I feel that in it's current state there is a lot to be desired. In my opinion only having a cosmetic gear as horizontal progression seems thin at best. DamonVile- Games built for disposable players are now apparently built by disposable employees. |

So cosmetic gear progression is bad, but if they have ever increasing stats that destroys the playability of everything appart from the last tier of items then the game has a rich end game. Brilliant. Read the above links if you are really interested in learning about alternate end game styles.
Ps bc, eve and gw1 have no stat progression- what do you think of those? rpg/mmorg history: Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW (9500 hrs on main mage)> oblivion > LOTR (480 Hunter) > Rift (230 hours mage) > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(350 elementalist) Now playing GW2/Diablo 3/Rift Waiting Archeage. |

Originally posted by Bladestrom No. Atleast that's not how I feel. I feel only having a cosmetic gear grind is inadequate and a reach to call endgame.
I love EvE's horizontal skill progression. There is also verticle progression with the types of ships and weapons you can use.

Eve doesn't have stat progression, it has lateral skill and gear progression. It is almost identical to gw2

Oh, if people would have only played UO instead of EQ and all the clones of EQ (WoW, Rift, TSW, AoC, TERA etc. etc.) were instead UO clones (EvE, SWG) we'd be able to explain GW2 "end game" so much easier... Some people just - don't - get it. MMO History: |
