I actually was on time, forgot timezones ha ha.

At least some of you got to play.

I found out mere minutes ago and was kicked out on the Character Creation screen. YAY, LOL!

Got to play for 10 minutes.. Now I'm just sad! Boo hoo! :(

i got full 3 hours:) some fun WvWvW but mostly was messing with graphics settings heh

Times like this call for vacation. Did all 4 hours, some PvP, WvW, Jumping puzzles and in the end Keg Brawl top scorer :D

messed with it for about 20 minutes than had real life things I had to do. Game definitly used both cores to 90%plus and all my memory, 6 gig on 64bit op system, Still DX9 only with no DX10 or DX 11 options, I got decent FPS  ( 40 +)  with settings cranked up until I got into areas with a lot of partical effects then it slowed to less than 20.

Hoping they wil optimize for GPU and maybe get SX10 in before release

Tried crafting for the first time, got broke really fast lol, can't wait for it to release. 

Things changed in the stress test that don't relate to balance:

• Dailies now give cash shop items (that mystic chests give) (not confirmed)
• Performance changes
• More graphics options
• Some of the vistas and stuff were moved around
• New-ish jump puzzle in L.A.
• Difficulty back at BWE2 stage

This was such a tease.  I made a Norn Ranger chick and she's beautiful and fun and....I can't believe I have to wait 23 more days to make her again and actually dive into my characters heavily.  /cry  This game is just....phenomenal.

Had some problems the first 15 min until i got better resolution enabled, had to to restart a couple of times. After that it played smooth on high setting the rest of the test. I did crash 3 or 4 times but it was quick to get in again.

Played just fine for almost the 4 hours.

Those champion mobs are back to be almost impossible.

I completed the daily achievements and it only gave me the mystic coin, 2 silvers, some xp, so can't confirm that daily achievements give cash shop items.

Still too many black lion chests (previously mystic chests) and no keys (I know you can get them from 100% map completion). The higher level zones were crawling with DEs (especially the retake areas conquered by mobs).

FPS seemed somewhat improved. (FX6100@4.4GHz Radeon 6850@900/1150 8GB 1866 Cas9 Ram)

Yea the stress test was definately harder than BWE 3. Even in starter zones..yet I loved it tbh. 

I didn't lag as much as BWE 3 in WVW and PVP, got a lot of "Rampages" and "conquring" announcements, was really fun.

I like the new changes as well not that it was many. 

Can't wait for the 25th lol.

I wonder why they changed the name: black lion chests  vs. mystic chests 

I enjoyed playing with the char creations for all 5 races! lol

It mirror my experience and I was lvl 22.

Even veterans could be tricky if supported by regular mobs.

Random thoughts and observations from today's stress test:

I got close to the full 4 hours. I had some log in issues the first 15 minutes and a new bug: If a network error occured while trying to enter the game with a character from the character select screen, every button, including minimize and close, became completely unresponsive, requiring ctr+alt+del to exit and try again.

I had one BSOD crash, (Win 7 64, NVidia 570, AMD Phenom II 4.03 Ghz). I had one during BWE3 and none in all the previous events and stress tests.

The Black Cloud trader wasn't accessible for me for at least the first third of the test. When everything did come up, had some issues converting gems to coin. Also, couldn't buy gems with Paypal, error screen. Was able to buy with Credit Card. (Helps me spread out the cost, bought some during BWE3, some today, some at launch, in lieu of the unappealing Digital Deluxe Edition and CE. I'd rather make my own package of perks).

In game itself was fine. No bugs, good frame rates, no ability lag. I had intended to create a bunch of characters, with screens, to show off the diversity the CC is capable of. However, I got sucked into the game and those plans fell by the wayside! :)

I gave Guardian a second shot. I was disappointed playing one during BWE1 and hadn't had a chance to give it another try. I liked the experience more today, but I think I confirmed it just isn't a great match for my playstyle. It just didn't feel as fun, for me, as Warrior.

I played my Ranger a bit the last hour. Still liking it, but I still think Ranger needs another AoE skill for Shortbow and Longbow. A Longbow Warrior just feels a lot more capable due to better Long Bow skills and Rifle feels better as a single target ranged weapon then Ranger Shortbow.

I realized today I like who ever it is that started the BWEs up early more than who ever runs the stress tests. I didn't even see a courtesy announcement that the test would be shutting down, like somehow because it's just a stress test, they can just be rude and pull the plug?

Much too short a test. Really want to play the game for real now! :) I hope the test helped them iron out some issues. They warned us of bugs and connection issues today well ahead of time, so it's hard to know if any of the issues we did have were unanticipate or indicitive of issues.

Did I mention it was too short? Those 4 hours flew by faster than any 4 hours I can remember!

I think I have solidified Human Elementalist as my primary for launch, Norn Ranger as first alt and other alts will probably have to wait some time, as I plan on getting my first two characters to 80 and beyond, before trying other combos.
