I have to turn off my Av to be able to login,picka toon,load, change zone ect, this has never happened before. True it's a stress test, but I thought they were testing you know stress on the servers :/ If it's not broken, you are not innovating. |

If you have to turn off your Antivirus, or any other programs to run something without it blocking it...it's not the games fault, allow the game to be bypassed in your AV or other programs...they dont know what 3rd party software your running and can easily be fixed on your end. When the game releases, if you still have the problem...I'm sure adding its launcher to the safe list will only need to be done once. |

Wondering if that is my problem as well. I got in, started a charr but now cant get in. I log in ok but then, in the game, it says that I am not connected to the Internet!!! LOL. |

Now I cant get to the beta forums. Yes, the server/s are stressed. I guess I just have to stop being greedy and wait for the early release :)

i certainly hope that the issues are just stress related. if GW2 does not run under my AV that would be a MAJOR issue. |

At a guess you are using AVG and have to turn your firewall off. I and many others have the same problem.... Also, the login servers currently appear to be B0rkEd Cluck Cluck, Gibber Gibber, My Old Mans A Mushroom |

As a best practice, when having difficulty loading a game you should always check your AV first. I remember the first time my AV broke my game. I am looking at you BF3. |

I can log in but I cant get into the game. Select a char and the screen goes black and I hear music <<<shrugs>>> They did say things would not be working right. Working on things live! See ya all on the 25th |
