Why is it that fantasy trolls are vulnerable to fire, but internet trolls thrive on flame wars? |

I'm still waiting to learn which races are restricted to free players. Since when is Tuesday a direction? |

So I agree with you there. I still enjoy the game because I'm taking it reaaallll slooowwwww and was never a lover of the "end game" crap so lack of it doesnt bother me. I'll just finish all the stories and mostly move on with the occasional jump into battlegrounds (which I still like despite all the haters) and running old flashpoints to obtain gear for cosmetic purposes . I might try an Operation eventually but once a game's playerbase gets to the gear-rating and rejection phase (usualy a few months after launch)..and every elitist jackoff votes to kick you instead of offering to mentor you or even just understanding that everyone started at the beginning...well..that's when I tend to ignore those game features/content. |

If you watch a game, it’s fun. If you play it, it’s recreation. If you work at it, it’s FF-XIV. |

Fail, they are going with SoE F2P model. Not intrested!!! They want to make it, they need to follow GW2 B2P model. You buy the game and you have access to all the game. Cash shop also needs to be nothing but time saving and cosmetic items. BioWare you fail again. Its like almost getting it right. I will come back when I can have full access to the game for my box price. I will shop your cash shop as I get you need to make money but they strong arming people to pay a monthly sub to have full access is not F2P. |

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. |

Sounds a lot like turbine and soe. You get x number of cash to spend in the store. LoL turbine pulled this and I de-installed. SOE pulled this but there is nothing in the store that I spend points on. This sounds the same and you got to wonder what will be in the store. However points or not they still need to make the game fun or it will not matter.

Originally posted by Dirktooth This will ensure that mostly kids jump in this F2P model. Anyone that gets the value of B2P over F2P will not even bothing with SWToR. Buying the box should give you access to all the game. Thats fair. Locking me out of content is not the way to win real customers. GW2 will prove this and BioWare again will have to come from behind the 8 ball and try and play catch up. |

What Jeff Hickman actually said, Decoded: "We failed to create an immersive breathing world (aka: an MMO) that people could enjoy past a one-time shot from start to finish. We then took an unfinished game engine, rewrote it to fit our own goals, and failed. We then charged people full box prices, and monthly subs, for said broken game engine that we slapped 'MMO' on the side of. So now that we see it was a certain failure we're going F2P because that's what we told the people they want." The Theory of Conservative Conservation of Ignorant Stupidity: |

Originally posted by st3v3b0 Actually no if you want you must still sub if u want access to the entire game. Otherwise they will be selling content sections in the store. you will be limited to the content you can play for free and the limitations are drastic much like LOTRO and SOE games. |

The way they phrased it was that in the Fall, the game goes free to play, but in the meantime, the box price will be dropped to $14.95. To me, that says the game will be free to download and play in the Fall. You probably still have to pay the $14.95 if you buy the box from a retailer in the Fall. Join the League For Gamers. |
