Super Mario Bros. Pretty much any Civilization game Guild Wars Madden Skyrim Pong - yes, Pong!
I was going to say GW2, but I decided to only put in games that have been released. :)

Starcraft II League of Legends Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter Call of Duty Counter Strike Halo NFS/Forza/GT FIFA That's the really competitive ones I can think of. Probably there are a lot more. Civ ?? Really? |

Cyberball! (A great football game with an awsome interface for pairs competition. Sorry to Madden and Tecmo Super Bowl fans. It was a tough choice.) 8 Bit Super Mario Bros. (Time Trial to beat game) Atari 2600's Combat. (A classic duel) Dark Age of Camelot Battlegrounds (Gotta have team events and what could be better?) Starcraft (Hate to give Korea and easy Gold Medal but what can you do?) 720 (Here's your game X-gamers. Think of all the competitions we could arrange in 720. Honorable mention to Top Skater) Area 51 (For the shooters. I hated to turn down Duck Hunt and Big Buck Hunter, but Ducks and Bucks don't shoot back.) Mortal Combat (For a real test of martial arts. Sorry Street Fighter series.) Golden Tee (A must have really if you think about how much competition this event would attract) Cruis'n USA (For the racers. This was a tough pick as I had to consider classics like Super Mario Kart, Popular Games like Gran Turismo 5 and even Nascar sims for the purists. I decided on a head to head arcade classic that everyone loved to pump quarters into. Now go practice double-tapping your accelerator pedals!)
