Hey all, I was hoping all of you could possibly help me come up with an in-game name for my character. I am probably wanting to go a Sylvari.

I just can't really think of anything. Also, I'm a male so will be playing a male character.

My rl name is Jake so maybe that can help.

To be honest, if someone happen to give you a good name suggestion here, it will most likely be "ninjaed" by someone before you are able to grab it at release...

or Jake the Reaper, or something like that for Syl characters.

The web is littered with name generators, pick one or ten.. im sure you'll find a name of your liking :)

I started off using Constellations for character names back in UO, but when games started using in-game mail and reserved names I had to go with the lesser known constellations. Finally, I found that these were becoming rarely available so I discovered a lot of great ideas using free online translation software to find character names. Unfortunately most translators use foreign alphabets for asian, middle eastern, and slavic languages but if you look hard enough you can find translations in the Latin Alphabet.

You can be a little more literal and search for worlds like magic or warrior or you can search for words like strength, sacrifice, and justice.
