I thought a little bit about this and can i suggest playing on private servers? Yes i know, they arent a "true" experience, but some of them work very well and i still play on them in and out just for sake of 'my PvP fix', which is main point here.

That and they are free to play . 15$ can be a big deal sometimes anyway :))

You can't 1v1 anyone, you can't 2v2 anyone, even in their structured PVP maps 8v8 is TOO MANY people for how TINY their maps feel.

I spent 10 hours last beta weekend playing JUST the structured PVP... I honestly was never so discouraged in my life by how utterly useless I felt as an individual player...

WoW is less Zergy, and thats saying something...

I always admired how Non zergy SWTOR's PVP felt, even in Ilum.  

Yet GW2... I swear...   ZergWars2 might as well call it.

Melee attacks are WAAAY too long range, you can shoot through walls, BG's are too tiny, and the PVP objectives are all the same feeling.  All 4 of the maps felt the same, except the one where you killed the general, but that was really the only difference, they even all had the same 'feel', color scheme, everything.

Very disappointing weekend.

  I am sorry you felt that way. sPvP was a nice thing to me on the other side. I want anything but 2v2 arenas and stuff and i was pretty satisfied with my Arathi Basin and Warsong Gultch battles. 

  You will still have duels at some point after release anyway :)

...fortunately I didn't succumb to either of those temptations. Instead I got NWN2 with all expansions. Hah!

NWN2 is an amazing game and it has tons of content :D IT takes ages just to beat all the campaigns and then there's all the custom content :)

So do I (Feral Druid, partially decked with Cataclysmic gear). What's sad is that September 25., all our efforts will be nuked into oblivion, and we will be just like noob with crap gear have to regrind everything to become competitive again after leveling to the new max level.

just until GW2 comes out...
