Pro: A proper MMO continuation of GW1 lore in a richly designed world where players end up working together without even trying to and where some, albeit not all, things can change depending on those players actions. Cons: There is a serious lack of quality tutorials, lots of childish themed quests to start with (only in the starter zones) and an abundence of zerg type gameplay being adopted by players from what we have seen so far. |

Pro: Advocating variation in an otherwise very stale genre. Negative: Gems for gold system and its implication in the ingame economy. |

Con - i have to wait a month to play it again Pro - play it as you want: pve(personal story solo mode or the world whihc is fully open), WvW or spvp, just pick what your mood is abo,ut and they are all interesting to play, which is quiet amazing when most mmo can't even do a single of those stuff properly. |

Pro: Smart devs that listen to community feedback and implement changes their own way (they seem to have excellent tools), solving the problems without creating more problems. Con: It is not 4 or 5 years in the future yet, so the game hasn't reached all it can be. Currently playing: GW2 |

Pro: Most solo encounters feel like an epic battle since many mobs do mucho damage if you don't dodge, and the combat system makes it fun. Con: Does not, in fact, turn water into wine. no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |

From what I know: Pros: Level scaling, levels being an abstract and dynamic property Cons: Instances? Not sure but I believe zones are instanced? + no open world pvp |

Originally posted by jazz.be Depend on your definition of instance - zones are persistant. You have a loading screen between zones but each zone is massive with hours upon hours of content. Open world PvP - not in the main PvE world by design. One could argue WvW is open world pvp zone, with several PvE elements, from mobs to resource nodes. Currently playing: GW2 |
