I hate post processing effects, I hate the glow it gives things in the background, the sky, etc... Well i also hate the highlight outline on targets or things I face. Not a game kille rlike I expected it to be, but still something i didn't like.

I had looked immediately for a way to turn off the highlighted target thing, and didn't see one. Late in thebeta I turned off post processing and it removed the highlight completely :)

I was VERY happy about this! mad ethe game look so much better to me and removed my single annoyance at the same time! :)

agreed! played with post pressesing off game looks a lot better to me I HATE bloom :)

I've been annoyed by that for 2 damn beta's  lol and now you tell me! ?

I also agree, I tend to turn it off in most MMO's I play, but I did like the version FFXIV had, made everything shimmer, looking up at the large trees the braches and leafs would shimmer and hypnotise XD

I agree about the bloom-glow-blur effects and the target highligting completely.  It's just too much.  The game is cartoony enough without all the added 'flare'.  The colored highlighting of targets sucks bad.  It instantly ruins the visuals for me.  I much prefer standard ways of marking targets.

I popped into the Sylvari starting spot this weekend, and I thought my video card was glitching it was so bloomed and blurred.

I've seen this complaint every BWE but I never thought about it while playing, have not seen anything to make a concious note of.

I'm not really complaining, it's just something I didn't like, but my main point was that there's a very easy workaround that'snot immediately obvious :)

So for those who dont mind it, awesome :)

For those that do not like it, there is a way to remove the highlighting ;)

Well it is/was a complaint, not saying it's an invalid one it's just odd i've put some 40 hours atleast into the game and I've no idea what this is about.
