OP you have opened my eyes.  Thank you very much for being honest and showing me that I was in fact NOT having fun playing GW2.  The game doesn't allow fun.  No fun allowed.

Thief is just a rogue, Warrior is the exact same as all other warriors (I wish they would let me just play a range warrior that'd be unique), Guardian is just a pally tank (Guarenteed must need for all dungeon groups), Ranger is just a hunter (having two different sets of pets for ground and underwater?  Too confusing), Engineer is just a glorified pet class who can't solo, and Mesmer is so underpowered that its uniqueness is hindered.

Blunder of the century....worse than SWTOR already.

Attempt to talk about your experience ingame and include that. What race, what class, how long played etc. At least that adds some credibility.

The complaint on graphics doesn't add up. You being lost on the map really makes you appear as a complete dimwit.

From your rant, really sounds like your computer is utter garbage and you most likely suck pretty bad at games...go do something else.

Im sad too, there is not mmo to play anymore. I want to play to a decent mmo, I want to buy, I want to love Gw2, but I CANT.

If you're actually serious, then it's quite possible you "outgrew" MMOs.  I'm playing WoW Beta at the moment (as opposed to GW2), and even I think you're trolling.  That said, I've never expressed a hatred for GW2 and plan to play all five races.  It has something WoW lacks (from previous plays): Adventure, exploration and simply fun for the sake of having fun.  While some MoP areas also include this, there is just a special feeling you get with each task you complete in GW2 that WoW just doesn't have anymore.

Sorry, OP, but I absolutely can not share any of your critique. I am sure GW2 is not perfect. But what you say... makes no sense to me. *shrug*

This. It is completely acceptable to dislike GW2 if that's the way one feels about it, but unless people provide substantial facts and evidence/examples of WHY they don't like the game its impossible to take that criticism seriously.

I love every aspect of GW2!!!

I'm not a foaming at the mouth fan of GW2, I think it's a solid game, but it's my no means the second coming of Jesus, like the people on this forum would have us believe.  Having said that, the OP is obviously trolling.  The only point that he made that makes a lick of sense is the Directx 9 bit.  I don't know why they are usuing shit from 5 years ago for a game releasing in 2012. It just seems lazy to me.

But aside from that,  the OP is full of shit.

Threads like this are why ANet should not have given stacks of free keys away to randoms.

People with absolutely no interest in the game or learning what it has to offer, and probably feel the need to defend their own precious choice of MMO, now wade in after playing for 10 mins screaming and crying about how it 'sux' etc with no bases of fact or reasonable experience.

Anyone else noticing a pattern of low activity/ low post accounts coming in now to say the same thing btw?

All I will say is that the people saying the GW2 will be 'for kids' probably should not worry... it seems that's exactly the demographic that is failing to connect with the game, going by the quality of these thread starters anyhow.
