After a long time of mmo-gaming, and after trying the most MMORPGs out there, I have decided to check MMOFPS this time. To be honest, I haven´t been taht interested of such games but decided to give it a try. This thread is basiaclly to hear your thoughts about the most interesting MMOFPS out there so I can shoose one to begin with.

I have heard of CrimeCraft and Team Fortress 2, what do you guys say about these two games ?

TF2 I'll love until the end of time. Selection versatility, weapon upgrades, great maps to play. Crimecraft, I've played for maybe 30 minutes. I was coo-coo for cocoa puffs when I heard this game was coming out -- but after actually playing it I have to say the mechanics and graphics are subpar. These games are free and I'm sure you'll try both regardless of what people post here. I've bought these two games from their release and I say TF2 was worth it even after seeing it go f2p.

I'll hold for Firefall, Defiance and Planetside 2. Neither of those two titles mentioned appeals to me

^^This.  Hands down.  Better to just wait, those other games mentioned above just suck.  Except Firefall....not sure how that one will be, but it's not on my radar at all due to it's graphics and some vids I watched.  It might surprise me.  Doubtful, but you never know.

Global Agenda can be fun for a while. It's definitely worth a look considering it's free.

Team fortress 2 is NOT an mmofps. it's a mfps. if TF2 is an mmofps then so it's Battlefield, and Mag, and Call of Duty.

a true mmofps would be either Darkfall,  which is actually a hybrid, or Mortal Online, which is a piece of crap. Planetside 2 will be close but it's hard to tell just how open it isj until we actually play it.

imo mmofps are the future of mmos (it's so hard to go back to tab targeting after you've tried mmofps) but sadly there are very very few mmofps that are even worht mentioning out right now.

Just wait for Planetside 2. It will be worth it.

Planetside 2 is the FPS I am keeping my eyes on.

The others that are out are nice but they get old afetrawhile XD

Planetside 2 is what you want and I think what everyone might want. The game looks to be quite promising from everything I've seen. Should be out in about 3-4 months..my guess.

DUST 514 isn't bad on the PS3. I just hate playing FPS on a console (PS3 actually died last night. . .) so that's likely the last console I buy.

Defiance is stricly PvE type stuff so if that's your thing check that out I guess. Firefall could be interesting but I've stopped paying attention to it. 

I wouldn't say TF2 fits the catagory.

PS2, Darkfall 2 and Dust are the ones to keep an eye on in my opinion.

I would say the only FPS out there now that's worth anything is BF3, and it really is a great game. But like others have said, Planetside 2 is going to be epic.

First I want to see a FULL FLEDGED MMORPG

Then, the FPS part to it.

Right now all I see is room based FPS games with cash shops and gimmick progression system to justify the monetization.

Check out Planetside or WWIIOnline both are really great MMOFPS game in my opinion.
