Also the players ramping up the hostility. A little early too, release still a month out. /grabs entrenching tool, ready to dig in Now which team do I choose this time? Not wishing to choose didn't help at all last time, I got assigned a team anyway. |

For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Most popular game here. Yet if you talk to people on other MMORPGs about GW2, most of them have no clue what you are talking about. |

I believe GW2 will be the "most popular" MMO here for a long while, at least until Titan or EQN are showcased. This could be affected by how diverse the gameplay is in the long run. Every system gets old no matter how well done so hopefully there is some zigging and zagging in GW2. Worlds really should move around you and I hope the success of GW2 will have it included in future games.
Dear developers, In my humble and inexperienced opinion if I can get through all the content you spent the last 5+ years working on within 6 months you have not done your work justice. Please give me, and everyone else, some tools to create our own content from what you have made so I can stay in your world and appreciate it longer than three weeks before I say "meh". It's a shame and I'd rather not do that to something you put so much of yourself in to. |

Lol You know I'm really looking forward to this game. Can't wait. On the downside it is rather clear this is going to be one of the more nauseating communities I've seen in mmos. Christ... 1. Originally posted by Anthur If nothing else, beta weekends just get me more and more interested about the game (even tho I've been following it for years)... Not something I can say for SWTOR. After the "freeforall" beta on SWTOR I was kinda let down and wasn't so excited about the game so much afterwards. On the other hand, beta weekends in GW2 make me wanna play the game even more than I did before the bwe. Every time xD. That gotta count for something, atleast in my case. :) "Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life." ![]() |

Originally posted by korent1991 same here during the beta for swtor I found myself very bored at times and extreme case of deja vu through the whole thing and almost fell asleep while fighting on the second day of it. GW2 each beta I only want to play more and I hardly have tried a fraction of the game.. really shows how much better this game was put together than a game like swtor imho I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

I hate the term WoW killer, as I think only Blizzard can kill WoW, but I do think GW2 is the first MMO to be able to reach WoWs success. Much like many tried to copy WoWs success, I can foresee many companies trying to copy GW2 model. I personally think this can only be good for MMOers. |
