I'm just curious to see if Richard Garriott has any thoughts on the matter. I think RG is off his rocker these days, but he *is* the man who made Ultima, and he *is* the guy that pushed out the world's first widely recognized MMORPG. Ultima was his baby. I wonder what it's like to see it get raped from afar. "I have only two out of my company and 20 out of some other company. filmoret: One thing I have never figured out is why the game devs hardly ever fix simple problems that arise. It is like they don't care about the pvp community. Nitth: What makes you so sure its a simple fix? filmoret: Because most of them are. Sometimes its just changing a number in a code string other times its creating a few variables. However none of them should take over a few hours of coding. |

quick low-budget cash grab
Does not seem to have much in common with UO or even Ultima crpgs.
If they ever do proper no-cash shop, no rmah UO2 then let me know.
Will propably not happen in any predictable future if ever. |

This idea is fail, why? Because they will change it. Why not just make a new game.
The good points about ultima was the ability to travel the world, do many things with freedom... You dont need to make a ultima game to have that and in this way (not using ultima setting) you dont have many players saying it sucks because they changed many stuff from ultima. |
