I think my favorite part might be the fact that once you hit 80, you keep gaining experience normally and you will continue to get skill points to use as a sort of currency with the mystic forge.
It's something I hadn't heard or didn't imagine before hearing this. SWTOR is the greatest mmo ever! |

Originally posted by FredomSekerZ Same here. As far as I know endgame = some type of replay value or treadmill. Well now that it's confirmed to have to ability to gain skill points after lvl 80,(to use for various gear and stuff via mystic forge) I guess it'll all work out. |

Originally posted by colddog04 Well as a GW player I kind of expected this to be the case. Especially when they announced the mystic forge and legendary weapons. |

Originally posted by BadSpock Careful now. You still gain XP after level 80 but when the XP bar fills up you gain 1 skill point instead of a new level. With the level curve they have in place I expect that you'll gain skill points at a good rate after level 80. |

Originally posted by StriderXed Yeah, that's why it's weird to me. Quests, dungeons, pvp. The only difference is that now there's super awesome gear in the end. it's now magically endgame. I just don't get it. Anyway, honestly, while this cool and all, i was actually expectin some kind of player driven/sandboxy type endgame for a sec. I alway knew Orr as better events than teh other zones but i don't view that as "endgame" since it's still just DE, only cooler. Which is fine all, but, oh well. |

Originally posted by colddog04 Well you used skill points to buy stuff in GW like skills ;P It basically is just another currency if you want to look it at that way. You kept gaining experience after level cap, once you gain enough experience for another theoretical level, you gain a skill point and the experience bar reset. |

Originally posted by colddog04 In Guild Wars 1 the cap was at 20 and you could get there very quickly. After 20 everytime you got enough experience for a level (flat leveling after level 20) you got a skill point to learn new skills (or buy new consumables items) Block the trolls, don't answer them, so we can remove the garbage from these forums |

Originally posted by DJJazzy Oh, I thought you meant that you could use skill points with the mystic forge to get weapons, or whatever they were talking about, in GW1. I understand how they are giving you skill points post 80.
I might just be confused too. SWTOR is the greatest mmo ever! |

Oh also if you quote me and it's to argue my point, if I don't respond it means I haven't been corrected by you and/or I haven't seen it. Remember I don't mind admitting I am in the wrong. Take care :D |
