I don't see the point in discussing this here.  Do you hope to change someones mind? This is hardly a place to discuss social issues.  

And for the record I'm all for equality but I think the feminist movement is a joke.  Just have a beer and relax people

*high five* +1. Though I guess I'd say differently over 100 years ago when women couldnt vote. Then the whole feminist thing would've been relevant...now i just dont care. Women have boobs. I like boobs. Most men, other than homosexuals, like boobs. If we like them they will be in our games. Simple as that. Not only that. Women have boobs by nature. It would be fairly unrealistic if we made female 3d characters without them... would look more like the Elin in Tera...flat chested little asian girls with big eyes and bunny ears. Its a pedo's world...

I guess that the grand majority would not say differentely 100 years ago. People are children of their time. 

Only thing I've really gained from this thread is that this game needs a boob slider at character creation before release.

I vote for boobies.

Tho I still think the female armor too overexposed for some professions, just like Tera.

I don't see the issue, there appears to be quite a lot of non-revealing armor (which I like best, hate the bikinis), and you can choose between a large number of different body types that definitely don't all go for the "anorectic model with melons" look :p

The number 1 reason people post on internet forums, or the "purpose," is to rant one's opinion and boost one's own ego.  Very often, people don't care if anything greater is accomplished.  As long as most people get to walk away from their keyboards feeling they are right or that they somehow "won" the conversation, they're happy.

Fundamental problem of forums: the longer and more thoughtful a post is, the less likely it is to be read by anybody.  

The less clothes they have on the more beating they can take. This is a embarrassment to the Warrior Class who is fully decked out with shield..("Wimps")..

Someone obviously haven't played Tera, now oversexualized is a understatement for that game.  GW2 has many clothing options  but none really stood out  like in many Asian MMOs.

Out of your mind!! As a female gamer this is the first game that I have ever felt represented REAL female body types and gave us the ability to look and feel NATURAL!

Warriors and adventurers wouldn't wear tailor made skin tight brightly colored outfits, male or female.  They wouldn't be in perfect shape or live in a world where fat cells don't exist and bodies are ageless.  Our culture is pathetically superficial to the point of absurdity.

I haven't seen that piece in action yet although it's in lots of promotion videos. Fortunately I haven't seen any kind of skimpy heavy armor yet, and I hope there isn't any, I can understand it on light armor but never on heavy :P
