Ill give you clues though, just as I did when i was helping you guys out with your quests you thought bugged, or quests you struggled with....

I paid £25 for preorder box - I panicked around the 29th that id paid this much for a preorder box as i was under impression id paid full price for the mmo. When do preorders for games cost £25 ???

Some writing on the box freaked me out - funcom live staff dealt with it and reassured me id got what i thought i had, differnetl ive staff said the same things..

I played, i helped people i loved this  game, then i  found out bugged quests were hurting me just the same way asswg bugs were- not a good sign that one as usually with most mmos i dont get pissed off over bugged quests. something not right why  I experienced what i have with this game.

Played on 3rd July YES I have got full game as i can log in even on the 3rd after playihng sinse 29th.. Funcom live stafff told me the truth...  can play now in piece and spend the money id saved to pay towards retail box, if the funcom live staff cluelsss.

I played I helped I grouped right up to the 6th when i logged out the game after our tank who wasted 15 minutes of our time in the beginning when i tried to form a group for the savage coast 5 man dungeon, after a struggle to master it and getting t othe final boss, after jusat two deaths on the final boss, our tank leaves us in the dirt... everyone f-eed off, what a shit day to be playing secret world after over 2 hours or so mastering the dungeon, this happens, so as im adding new person who is tank, others in thegorpu decide to leave to, so i log out pissed off this is happening , thinking to myself some sort of penatly for leaving group dungeons should be forced for every mmo game were we are asked to group, as it is for many single player mlutiplayer games such as calll of duty series, log out a multiplayer epxeirnece causing discomfort for those staying in the game instance then suffer the penalty to your score points . Thats how it should be if you leave a group after two hours trtekking through a dungoen, to find the tank leaves on the very last boss after two deaths that cost everyone what 2000 of ingame coin for repairs ???

Sorry we didnt cancel your preorder box on the 3rd so youd know that you didnt pay for full retail, and sorry you spent the money you had left for the retail box on ingame items. youll just have to wait till the 17th when you next get money mate, and then play whart will be an empty area game for you as everyone else will be miles ahead and some even completed in time for guild wars 2 release on the 28th.

if thats the case OP, you need to contact your retailer (blockbuster) and ask them why you still havent received the key you payed them (your retailer ,blockbuster) for.

ok so I was right, You ordered at blockbusters and they only sent you a pre-order key.  Fc didnt lie to you, they have no way to tell what blockbuster did or didnt or even wont sent you, judging by the price you payed for the full version (granted it still is a tad on the cheap side), so they asumed (wrong) that a renowned retailer as Blockbuster to sent the retail key.

You need to contact Block buster, you bought from them, they are the ones not sending the key and they probebly still have it.

Blockbuster simply dont know what they sold me, the live chat staff though lied to me twice teling me the box they sold me and that I owned actually came with 30 days free.

Now unless its me thats clueless, FUNCOM know about the actual boxes they have been selling to customers. As far as I can see there is only two versions of retial store items regarding this game: 1) the preorder boxes which look like thin retail boxes... blockbuster sold me on at £25 when normally you only pay £5 towards deopsit. 2) the other box is a full dvd release of thegame in the usual size game box withinstruction manual I would guess. It looks like a retail box. so tell me:

Why is it the live chat peopole canot understand when I c learly explained that I bought a preorder box at £25 and it was confusing and I think im righht in presuming that blockbusters thought it was the fulll gaem hence the huge price tag for the preorder box and also because they dont even have any retail boxes in the store even today !!!

now do you understand or has that made no sense to you at all still ?  how is it possible the live caht people can not tell the difference between only two physical boxes they have on sale ? there is only two of them as far as i can remember.

They toild me and others; the preorder box hads two keys in it : A blatant lie from customer support staff who havent even researched the game,.

They also told me more than once during seevral live chat experiences, that the ccount I had, had 30 days on it. This is after i told them clearly the description of the boxes..

Im a customer and I know now, I bought a preorder box for the early accesss bonuses, that came on  code I got from a store in a thin version of a physical computer game box. All that box was for was preordring the game and getting the cat, getting the t shirt, getting the ring, getting early access. That is all  this preorder box was meant to be for. I know this now after they banned my account on the 6th till i pad more for retail. Ive seen theretail box and its a considerably larger box than the preorder box yet funcoms staff cant distiguish between both boxes and what they have on them ??

They resorted to tellinmg me false facts instead if listening to me that I had a preorder box not retail box.

That is wwy im mostly angry as its affected my opportunity to play at the same rateand same areas  in the game as other people :(

Still, this would be an issue with Blockbusters as they didn't seem to know/care what the difference was between they preorder box and a retail copy. As for the Live chat people, after reading your posts I can see them getting confused on what you were talking about. But still, this would be an issue that needs to be taken up with Blockbusters - they either need to give you the retail copy as you stated you paid for it, or they need to give you a full refund due to their F-up.

Oddly enough though, this is the 6th posting I have seen where someone was complaining about this specific retailer and the same exact issue. I wonder if anyone else who purchased from them had an issue like this....

What makes me laugh is the fact the consumer has zero rights.  If you bought the game in the UK and approach trading standards you willl find they are powerless.  Instead because Funcom are registered, still I believe, in Norway.  You have to contact the European version of trading standards, who then tell you to contact the specific trading standards in Norway.   Long story short, unless you are a resident of Norway you probably have no rights.  

But I think people are missing the overall point.  Regardless of what has happened with this guy and the details, Funcom has an unhappy customer.  How a company deals with an unhappy customer is a testament to their core values. 

Funcom for once step up and do the right thing.  Get the guy back in the game, give him what he thought he ordered. Take a hit for once and produce a happy satisfied customer.  It isn't all about the money.  Customer satisfaction goes a long way to the perception of a company. 

Blockbusters? I thought they were all shut down. The only Blockbusters i've seen in years are abandoned empty store shells.
