Honestly, if you want a good feel for the game without having to constantly wonder if the reviews you read are "pay to give high score" or not, you should go ask a wide variety of people who are not paid to review something AND have played the game, even if just beta. While their statements will probably be biased, there is usually some kernels of truth amongst their bias and you can put together the truthful parts to get a good idea.

This.Not to mention the fact that you actually know the person and know what their likes and dislikes are.  I've never paid attention to "professional" reviews. I much prefer the opinon of people I know. This goes for all forms of entertainment.

That number is the number of weeks the average person who bought the game would play it.

SWTOR had good ratings all over the net.

I have to admit.. after playing the game for a number of months.. reaching max level.. I'm questioning the 8.7 rating.. But to each their own.. Ratings are personal, just like opinions on music , movies or other forms of entertainment..  For me, since SWTOR followed the gear grind formula and had limited replayabilty.. I would give it a 7.0.. TOPS.. Even that is being favorable..

I got banned from mmorpg by simply questioning the mmorpg rating (especially the innovation rating).... several times.

 I think the best thing to do in order to avoid this is not call the first review a full review of the game since it's impossible to experience the full game within a few days. They should do the review in seperate parts such as the first review and the final review. The final review would happen only after the reviewer has experienced the end game and everything that the game has to offer.

More likely you got banned for "how' you questioned it.

You can question anything on this site. Problem is, some people just don't realize that in having a dialectic you can't be accusatory and in some cases rude.

Time to move on is when sites start doing honest reviews. Letting them think we forgot all about it only leaves the door open for repeat offences.

Wrong and immature logic! Its no longer a review when the *@$!  feel as if they need to be agreed with to be honest.
