I just found out where I can get TSW for a reasonable price. I might give it a go to entertain myself until GW2 comes out or I get bored.

I think on Cerberus Illuminati and Templar are pretty neck and neck with Dragon just a smidge behind.  Can't speak for the others.

Are all servers on the East Coast ? Or there are any EU based >

On my server, its all Templar, some Illuminatti and the Dragons are virtually non excistant.

I play on Arcadia and while the templars do have the upper hand much of the time, I've logged on quite a few times now to see us holding no facilities at all with the dragon and illuminati in control.

Remember OP the only place dimesions (server) matter  is the persistant warzone, Fusang because of the "single-server tech" Everyone around the world plays together. It feels like one huge server.

All on the East Coast as mentioned. From Norway I get a ping of 80-130ms, mostly around 100ms. Quite impressive with the distance involved and the server roundtrip included. The genius of it is that you can group up cross dimension with anyone playing the game for everything except Fusang (persistant PvP zone).

err, I forgot to mention. It varies on time of day. Many mornings I log on and find Dragon owns everything. I was going off the general weekly score thing.

Do you have to sub straight away to play  ( like in SWTOR ) or you can play on your free 30 days without giving them your credit card details.

You have to give them your most other sub based MMORPGs.. but you can do that and cancel it right after if you like :)

One more fast question. Is your official forums login and pass tied to your game login and pass ( are they the same ) ?

I have separate forum and account logins

The PvP is fun, but please don't buy it if that is your primary interest. You will be unhappy unless you are into the rest of the mythos and gameplay mechanics.

My forum account isnt even tied to my game account...actually im not even sure how to tie it.

Yeah i feel you on this one, nothing i hate more than forums that make you login with your game login...i feel very uneasy risking my account info like that.

Also, i know theres a lot of talk about which server has the most balanced pvp ext...choosing your sever matters way less than even the pvp focused individual would think...aside from choosing german or french servers.

The factions are surprisingly balanced in pvp since i do believe you get queued once the faction cap is reached...yeah im sure theres a lot more templars in game across all the servers but in fusang that just means they get a longer wait, if your really into pvp id suggest rolling iluminati or dragon (either doesnt matter) and have slighly shorter wait times on fusang (im illuminati on cerberus and i think i have had a max 4min wait on fusang)

So i wouldnt worry in any way on your server choice...unless french or german, not sure if those are tied in game and just chat is seperate or what.

On your account page there is an option to change your forum login name, but as this isn't tied to any "official forum" yet that option doesn't work.  The current forums people are using were created during the game development and are going to be wiped soon.
