Raptr has announced that it is giving away 5,000 World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria beta keys that can be redeemed beginning Thursday, July 5th. The give away is part of Raptr's gamer rewards program.

• WHEN: Gamers can begin redeeming the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria reward on July 5, 2012 on Raptr.com, but are highly encouraged to join today as all rewards will be offered on a rolling first come, first served basis.
• WHERE: Gamers can learn about and view available Raptr Rewards.
• HOW: Eligibility to redeem rewards will be based on games played and ranks earned on Raptr; ranks are determined by time played and achievements unlocked. The World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria reward is available in all regions with the exception of China and Korea. All rewards will be offered on a rolling first come, first served basis. More details about the reward and who is eligible to earn it will be available on July 5, 2012.

If they made the cost of entry more reasonable (sold all boxes with the current expack for example) and opened up a new server I would try WoW.

This... this... =-) I am done with MMOs that have a focus on grind. I dont mind doing it once per char, its even fun doing it once but always getting outmatched in PvP because I didnt get the last 2 sets of PvP gear did it for me. They could give me this expansion for free and I would not come back because at WoWs core is the biggest grind I have seen in a MMO. WoW did bring something to MMOing (fun level system and great BG) but its time to step into the new GW2. More MMOs need to start picking up this low grind metality. I have a life I want to log into my MMO to go have fun and do it with my friends. Not have to worry that every 3-6 months I am going to need to grind a new set of weapons and armour to hang with my friends still.

This was the thing GW1 fans (including me) were saying to MMO players. Your average (read pretty much every single one) MMO is grind, grind, grind whereas GW was different. People didn't like it. They were happy to keep grinding for items and levels. Now 7 years later people seem to be catching up with this idea. It took them only 6-7 years to realise what GW1 fans have realised a long time ago.

Hmmm no thanks. If I want Kung Fu Panda I will watch the movies Its MUCH more entertaining.

I watch MOP gameplay videos on youtube and Twitch.

Get quest kill x or find x or jump x and then dungeon then raid.

Its the same crap like all the previous expansion with different skins.

Oh! the irony when once you finish playing the chapters GW1 was all grind, titles anyone? which incendentally did nothing for you toon it was just bragging rights that you grinded for six months to get it or you just left after the 4 weeks it took to complete the content and waitted for the next chapter. The GW fan base really does think itself "special" doesn't it.

YAY, all the WoW people will stay here instead of going to GW2... I had to pull out of DAoC due to all of their whining!
