What's with the closing of the previous thread with no response whatsoever?

The points were very valid and I'll re-state them if people think it was just trolling:

a) Europeans pay more, both compared to Americans and to European players in other MMOs.

b) Maintenance times will affect Europeans most and already started to.

c) Latency for Europeans is higher than mostly anyone else, and affects gaming for certain players, especially PvPers.

d) The physical location of the servers had been hidden until launch, with no official statement, and ended up hurting Europeans most.

So, is there something wrong with wanting to discuss all this, or is it just going to be swept under the rug?

Actually things differ only minor... 

a) EU prices include VAt, US prices dont

b) MAintenance will be during EU mornings on weekdays, most people will be at work or at school

c) I live in Holland and have 60ms  Lattency, whats wrong with that?

Even now you still don't get it. The objections weren't about the difference between US and EU, they were between TSW and other games. Even excluding VAT (paid in the UK by the way, not across the EU, and which all games pay) TSW is still around £2 more expensive per month than almost all other mmos, including SWToR. So... for the final time, nothing to do with VAT.

Are the servers really located in USA? Some people from Europe are reporting so low latencies that it should not be possible to get that low latency to USA.

Lord.Bachus, out of curiosity. Could you test how high/low ping you can get to some US servers at http://www.pingtest.net/

Mate this whole post is about europeans getting treated different by Funcom then Americans.... then why would the OP point out prices of other games?

I fail to see an issue on pricing, sure it would be nice to have a cheaper subscription, I'd love to buy a pint of beer for £1 a pint in my local but they insist on charging me £2.40, I have the choice of trying a different pub but I like this one, nice atmosphere and comfortable seating (very important when your getting on a bit).

Hmm, have to agree with OP, not sure why original thread was locked without comment, raise an email to MikeB asking for clarification.

Not sure I see a pattern of discrimination against Europeans here, servers have to go somewhere, few companies bother to locate them in multiple locations /countries, since EA is US based, figures they'd locate them somewhere in the States.  (though since Funcom is EU understandable if folks figured they'd be located on that side of the pond.)
