Ive prepurchased, been playing mmos since a decade and cant see whats so good about GW2.

Ive tested the 2 big beta weekends and it didnt feel special at all.

For me its just a extremly overhyped game with no real skill needed. Maybe this game is really pegi 12. There is just no challenge and the rewards are just some different armor with similiar stats. Im not for the Trinity but i felt that the game was really easy.  Maybe im expecting to much from the artificial intelligence.

I suggest you play past level 5 before thinking you know everything about the game.

Well, it is the first couple of levels, why would it be difficult? Try out dungeons.

But aside from that, you're allowed your opinion. The 'hype' comes from the fact that hundreds of thousands of other people love it, each of their opinions just as important as yours.

Damn i know your feeling man , i was hoping to plummeted into the ground by them level 10 mobs.....

I have a feel thats exactly what he did. Maybe never left the starting area.

 have we come to the point where we need to play the full game to give an conclusion? Like i said, ive played alot of mmorpgs, i can come to that conclusion because my experience allows it.

Or maybe the OP just didnt like it?

Let the man have his opinion , no reason to give him chit for not liking a game you like .

I dont see him giving you crap for liking the game.

He has a right to his opinion just like you do no matter if he played to lvl 5 or not.

Of course he as the right to is opinion. But calling a game's pve boring when you didn't even make it that far isn't a good bases. Why do games have to be uber awesome right from level 1 anyway. Do we have to fight Zhaitan right after CC?

Not saying you didn't play it, but, your posting history kinda hints that you didn't. You said that you saw your brother play it and that you were glad that you didn't buy it yourself..

Hardness of game is personal thing   i can accept it   i believe you very skilled  player with  sharp senses.

but BOORING  no way    it can be easy if you  perfectly avoid all big hits from bosses  but you must watch  the game not just focus on your hotbar  and pressing rotation.  and it cant be booring :)  Also lots of "quests" has  easy normal and hard   variants for all kind of players :) yes in som cases  hard  doesnt mean it will be really hard  like in 25-35 zone with  fights  in cages for example  but some fights espessialy during Story line can be very  chalenging and really fun.

if game encourages you to watch for  mobs, their actions, animation, move, use  skill at the time they are needed, and dodge  its almost imposible to be booring. and for extra fun  make combos with skills.

Awards  maybe partly   As they said  Gear will never be a problem  you still can get Top gear for several silver  and only try to farm rare for looks.

As for similar stats in REWARDED armor  sorry but  i never saw a "quest"  which gave Item as a reward :(   Zone completing not a quest :)

but  as Heart quest  givers sell Karma gear  sure they are with similar stats  because  its 20 vendors on map  so you can choose which stat you want  you may like it or not.    i personally love  idea not having  1 vendor for all the gear. 

P.S stop using Hype in GW2 posts.  Hype =  A clever marketing strategy which a product is advertized as the thing everyone must have, to the point where people begin to feel they need to consume it.

we already saw 2 BWEs and 2 stress tests   no hype can be here as you will get what you saw.

Well from reading what he wrote it sounds like he tried pve a bit but found it boring so went for the pvp aspect.

So im guessing hes into pvp and this is why he found pve boring?

You might want to explain a little more OP this might help others understand a bit more..

Just look at his record history, he hate all games, it s like a hobby, definitely this guy has no life...

After playing the closed beta i got bored pretty fast as well..

Its just your average fantasy themepark MMORPG with a few different twists.. its not a bad game as such in any way but ive seen it all before and I am bored of all fantasy based themepark MMMORPGS...

Why did you buy the game then? If you are bored of fantasy based MMO's?

ok great, thanks for the input, be sure to pass on the game to someone who will undoubedtly love it!

As a game it continously exceeds my personal expectations and feels very special as a MMO.
