He works and brings home the bacon. He doesn't want you to work; therefore, you can't splurge on this kind of thing when you want to. IMO, he owes it to you to get the edition of the game you want as he has effectively decided that he is the one "taking care of your wellbeing".

Buying master for your other half shows your appreciation for them. It's more than just for playing the game, it's how you view your partner significant. But hey, most male are tard. |

I could understand if you wanted the MC for the unlimited play time (assuming the game doesn't go FTP), but the only thing you want it for is the coat. So essentially you want him to buy you a $200 in game pixelated piece of clothes, which costs almost as much as an actual coat does from the Gap or Unlimited etc.
P.S. Women holding back bedroom benifits never fixes anything. It will just make your man unhappy. If done long enough they will just go out and find it elsewhere. |

Clearly he's using he's background in psychology to manipulate you. I'd look at your email/box copy he bought you, look at him, look down at he's pants and say, 'Well...you always have been a tad.....'underwhelming', when it comes to giving pleasure'.
I guarantee you, he'll be phoning colleagues for councilling, that's what me sister-in-law said anyway :P This looks like a job for....The Riviera Kid! |
Originally posted by ragz45 If that was true then I'd agree....though I made it sound like that is all I care about due to my focus on the coat. The completeist in me likes all th unlockabled the extra editions have but I just KNOW I will be playing this game for the long run. He's just not so sure. I am playing GW2 when it comes out. The thought of being solid in my gaming without any sub fees at all just is really exciting. But yes...it is for the unlockables as well. If it wasn't just the unlockables then why would I care? I wouldn't be paying the sub. But the thing is, I do care because I know it will also save us some money in the long run. |

the game has a store also :P you said u hated star treks cstore, tsw has a store why complain? but if he quits faster then u then beat him across the head with a pipe and if you quit before him then u gotta stop complaining about a mans choices :P |

Originally posted by corvenik hah! Ok I have to ask before I go: Can't I just have the option "If he gets me the GMC and I quit before him then he gets to beat me with a lead pipe?" I'll risk it!
Also: I don't mind stores...it's how they are done that gets my approval or disdain. GW2 will do it right. TSW will do it right "or else!!!"...STO did it wrong. That's my opinion but a lot of people would agree. |

Sounds like if you dump him you will have to support yourself financially and thus cutting into your game time. At which point owning a collectors edition will be the least of your problems. Just withhold sex.

So you're going to dump him over some video game? Is this a troll thread? The answer is yes, do him a favor por favor. Remember... all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more. |

With my significant other, it is always 1:1 when it comes to gaming. If I get a collector's edition, she gets one....always. And as the saying goes: "A happy wife is a happy life", lol. |

He should know the first rule of marriage: "A happy wife = a happy life" As a gamer married to a non-gamer, I live by this rule in order to secure valuable game time on the weekend. |
