Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not. |

Hi all, came in here to clear this all up. I was at a little Caeser's one day grabbing some 'za, that's the hip way to refer to pizza by the way (about to get into the Webster's dictionary too). Anyways, who else walks in but mothatrucking Kekai “Cake” Kotaki. I ask him hows it going and he tells me that things in Arena.Net are going nuts!
Apparently, one of the leads are actually a thousands year old Mayan Priestess, who has seen visions of the world ending. Don't ask me who, its confidential stuff, not even the president knows. Anyways, she who is now a he thanks to their great deity Quetzalcoatl, saw that the coming of GW 2 would break the first seal of the all-devouring spirit of darkness, Angrah. Since the game MUST come out (its to be used to seal Jormungandr), they are working on delaying its release while they develop counter-measures. Undead Labs was founded because of this. They hope that a combination of undead footsoldiers and specially chosen warriors will be able to protect the world for the 6 days the coming End will last.
Now, I can't say much more on this. But Kotaki did tell me that as a pre-purchaser of the GW2 collectors edition, I was to get Mjolnir and Sliepnir. Because half of the GW2 dev team is also Norse gods, with Mike O'Brien actually being Odin (hence that "O' " part in his name).
Personally, I can't wait for my cross-religion end-of-the-world throwdown! |

I don't really recall some huge outcry that SWTOR was broken outside of PvP Ilum either. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

I asked my wife when she thought GW2 was going to release and she said sometime in September. And I believe everything she tells me so it must be true. (she's looking over my shoulder atm) Amazing prediction since she doesn't even know what it is, but we'll see how accurate she turns out to be.

We need to leav a sign on these boards - "Release Date: Tomorrow" - and just leave the sign up until eventually it's right.

My friend's friend's cousin's uncle's stranger he met on forum's friend knows a person who works at Arenanet that said the release date might be sometime in the future this year too. Let's hope he/she is right. |

My uncle works at Anet and he's been working there since 1999. He showed me Guild Wars 2 and it's amazing, it comes on a gold cartridge and you can fly around on a dragon and land and eat people. We played it all night last night but my uncle had to take it home so I can't show it to you guys and I couldn't find my camera so I wasn't able to take any pictures. My other uncle works at Nintendo and he showed me the new Super Mario Brothers game. It's bigger than all th other Mario games combinded and it also comes on a gold cartridge and you can fly on a wasp. While my Uncle from ANet was not looking he plugged the Mario cartridge into the Guild Wars 2 cartridge and you could play as Mario in Guild Wars 2! He said you can do this with any game! He had to take home too so I can't show it to you guys. |

My dog ate another dog's poo near Arenanet's office. My dog then told me that the indigestion induced vision indicated that GW2 will launch in August and cure cancer and aids by December. True story bro!
Cheers!

I dunno where any of you are getting your information but its already common knowledge that the game is releasing on 6/28/12 ( 3 days from now )

Keep the rumors coming though, I find some of them pretty funny.

I am a Chinese-American. I have an Uncle who I talk to every once in a while. He lives in China and works for military intelligence (he's a colonel). He works in a classified position, very hush hush, but I can reveal something he told me just the other day. He said that China had drawn up plans to invade Taiwain on August 14, but had to push back the invasion a few months because Important People had learned that ArenaNet was planning to relase GW2 around the middle of August. So anyway, it's confirmed: Aug. 14ish release for GW2 and the invasion of Taiwain will happen in December and will be funded with the proceeds of gold farming from GW2. |
