The thought of spending $200 on a piece of digital gear makes me drink. I'm taking a shot of vodka every time I see a reference to a game being a WoW or Diablo clone. |

It is bound to happen anyway. How Blizzard resolve it is a different matter. But personally, i am not going to buy anymore Blizzard products thanks to D3. WOW: The Most Well Known Non-Free Non-Browser Client-Based 3D Fantasy MMORPG In Some Parts of the World. |

not buying anything from blizz again here either. Typical response from them too. Anyone else tired of the arrogance? |

Blizzard must pay him $99. He should demand that I think. I would probably spam them and write " I want $99. Give me now!" every day. Until they payed me.... And if they answered and claimed they couldnt do that I would get really rude and nasty and start talking about lawyers and so on. People should never accept things like that. He is entitled to $99 and Blizzard is forced to pay the guy. |

This is the 4th occurance of this happening I have seen--one was for an item that sold for $300. I hope that someone who it happens to contacts the FBI just because of the run-around they are getting....because they have all the information right there on there financial files, and if its not there, they are deleting transaction data, which would mean they can't do business anymore. |

Talking to Blizzard CS is like trying to talk to a monkey, man this is so pathetic, it's like they answer every email with a random cut and past paragrah. Pathetic, truely pathetic. |

Puzzling that they dont just go back and check the logs, assuming there is such. They always seemed able to do so in WoW, and trust in the system is key since it involves real cash. -Just puzzling that this even gets out, I would do a little check and if unsure, just give the guy his cash. Must be peanuts to them, even is someone should cheat the system a little. /does puzzled face once more.... |

I thought they postponed the whole money section because of bugs, of which items gone missing was included? Hm.
I wanted to type something really smart as a reply to this subject, but the Scarlet Blade ad got me distracted and I forgot what I wanted to type. |

Originally posted by iamrta I dont see why one would refrain from buying the next Starcraft 2 installment because of the D3 ordeal. My logic would be to not buy any future games that feature a RMAH. But hey, be all dramatic and "draw the line"! Blizzard sucks! High five! Player buys game Player finds item in game Player attempts to sell the item to another player for real money Item goes missing
The player who found and sold the item has lost ZERO money from this (maybe 1 dollar?). The player who purchased the item should be complaining... He is upset that he's not getting paid 98 dollars for a digital item.
Don't get me wrong, i HATE customer service who operate like this, but you need to stop and understand that there are MILLIONS of players complaining about stupid shit day after day. Each customer service agent probably has to handle 100's of tickets per day. You cannot personally make everyone happy. Just imagine how many people complained that they died in HC because of "server lag" when really their ISP or some other thing outside of blizzard control is to blame. The CS staff have to deal with those idiots daily, having this guy think hes any more special is a joke. |

Seems pretty normal, the person in question (tier 1) can't help so it was escalated. What's the issue?
Does anyone really think gamers will 'not buy' a game because of XYZ? How many 'boycotts' have we had and how many have actually 'not buy' the product in question? D3 has RMAH! Boycott!! - sells 6.3M COD:MAKE.MONEY has no lan! boycott! - Sells millions etc Wonder why there seems to be more haters on the internet? Read this by an actual marketing guy to find out why. |

Originally posted by Painlezz it doesnt matter if he lost anything or not. he spent HIS time and HIS money(buying the game/ paying for the internet/pc etc) they implemented RMHA for players to make money off of, and blizzard too. so yes if he doesnt get his money its called fraud and they can go down for it.

Its really bad. And I would probably be very angry if it was my money. |
