they do not care --> they got your moneys and are happily swimming in it... Why would they care about ppl playing the game now? They already bought it! Less strain on the servers = lower energy bill. And Blizzard knws ppl WILL and always WILL buy the next upcoming Diablo 3 expansion...ppl are stupid ya know. So pleasing the customers? pff that's below their status and unnecessary Why would they finish the pvp part of this game??? because they promised? pfff Blizzard doesn't care about promises or delivering a finished product in the first place :( You will have your Pvp shortly in an expansion pack costing a full 60 dollars! until then sucker! Didn't this game sell 6+ million copies? How is that 'killing this game'? o_O Wonder why there seems to be more haters on the internet? Read this by an actual marketing guy to find out why. |

It does need the PvP soon, it's getting a bit tiresome just running through the game on different characters. I don't even care if it's balanced or ranked or anything it would just be a nice fun thing to do that isn't grinding mobs for terrible loot. ![]() |

PvP means nothing. This seems like grasping straws. Make a poll for the people if, they'd rather have 1.03 buffs to droprates or PVP. I guarantee you, it will be 5-15% (pvp) vs rest. Also, most people (as in hardcore players, rest are garbage), tried to reach 99 without dying to TPPK hacks and such. PVP was never even a consideration. Leveling to 99 was lengthy and risky enough to create challenge. Sure maybe softies preferred PvP, but again, what's the point? Same as in why do you even play Diablo in softcore? |

diablo has never been about pvp so the lack of it can hardly kill it, right?

The lust for cash is d3s biggest downfall. Designing your entire game around making money from rmah commission leads to bad gameplay.

I liked MMOs better when gamers didn't play them, and just geeks did. |

Lack of PvP is the least of this steaming pile's problems. Playing: Rift and DayZ

PvP was definitely one of the hooks that kept people playing D2 long after they would have normally quit. Another hook was the social aspect that channels and the old battle.net provided. There were a lot of people who were hooked not by the game but by the people they met with and hung out in channels. They would have quit the game and forgotten about it a long time ago if it wasn't for those channels they visited. "Replayability" is not the issue with D3, because no game can hook people with only "replayability" like D2 did. PvP and the old battle.net hooked people and kept them playing. The sad thing is that the PvP that will be implemented in D3 will resemble WoW's instanced arenas and/or battlegrounds. Wow mechanics and designs should never have been blended into a Diablo game, and yet it has and it will happen with PvP. Duels on the Blood Moor in a game that stayed open for hours while duelists join and leave... that's where the addicting PvP of D2 was. Unfortunately, the PvP in D3 will never be as fun. |

This game has virtually no replayability because the game uses the same exact maps for every single run through of the game. Diablo 2 at least had random directions to go and different shapes to the maps. Diablo 3 does not appear to have any of that. Big deal, the monsters that appear on the maps and the exact locations of the quest destinations are sometimes different. That doesn't make the game any more replayable, even from difficulty to difficulty. THAT is D3's greatest drawback, IMO, not the lack of people's ability to run around killing other players that are trying to play the game normally. (Which is genuinely all pvp really boils down to in the long run- greifers killing people that want nothing to do with pvp.) |

The game is fun again after patch 1.03. They have fixed the progression problem so now everyone should be able to farm for the best items and complete inferno. I was farming Act 1 Inferno today and I got quite a few good items. |

This game was not made for people like, this game was made just to make money... |

really? so you never played D2 closed bnet at all? or did you just play by yourself? multiplayer in diablo is very dependent on pvp, pvp is what kept D2 going so long for a heck of a lot of people. |
