If the logic a lot of GW2 haters here express was applied to WoW back in the day, WoW would have gone F2P in a few months. I guess some people just don't get it. |

I never bought the hype so i got what i expected. Never felt i am playing something godly or genre changing MMO (like many fans would want you to believe) but it is a nice edition to my MMO collection. |

I don't care and never cared about hype.I pre purchased it,played the game and loved it and don't care about what haters think about the game. In the land of Predators, the lion does not fear the jackals... |

It's not even finished and it is still the best MMO I've ever played. Hands down, by a large enough margin that I feel comfortable saying it already. And for the ten thousandth time, it is not hype when it is players talking about how great it is. It is hype when a company tries to sell you on it by playing it up on ads and media sites. When Blizzard runs TV spots with Chuck Norris, that's hype (yes, even though the game has been out for a good while now). When Bioware runs big-budget CGI ads for a game, that's hype (especially so because the cinematic has absolutely nothing to do with how the game will be at all). When IGN or G4 or MMORPG or whatever runs big interviews with the reps or the devs and they talk about how awesome their own game is, that's hype. When thousands and thousands of people who have played it say it is amazing, that is not hype. That is word-of-mouth excitement. They are not even close to the same thing. I am a regular person who has played many MMOs over many years, and I am saying it is easily the best MMO I've ever had my hands on. This isn't hype. This is a guy being super excited for a game. "There are two great powers, and they've been fighting since time began. Every advance in human life, every scrap of knowledge and wisdom and decency we have has been torn by one side from the teeth of the other. Every little increase in human freedom has been fought over ferociously between those who want us to know more and be wiser and stronger, and those who want us to obey and be humble and submit." — John Parry, to his son Will; "The Subtle Knife," by Phillip Pullman |

As for expectations well what a fool you are ; their are only so many ways you can kill or gain experience. (I need to stop reading these forumns but cannot because of the amusement value; False Expectation causes ulcers don't buy into it just enjoy what developers have developed or go elsewhere) I would also suggest you set up a company and give your products away for nothing; "People who wish to get something for nothing will get nothing"
