What is man? A miserable little pile of secrets! |
I have to stop playing the beta cause I don't wanna ruin my experience There are times when one must ask themselves is it my passion that truly frightens you? Or your own? |

I've actually had this experience with other games and it can kill the game for you, it did it to my friend with TERA, online day in and day out in BETA and on release the excitement was gone.
He loves GW2 but he stopped playing late last night and decided he won't start playing today either because he doesn't want the same thing to happen. |

I'm in the same boat. I know what class I'll start with already so I think I'll just skip the rest of the betas and wait for launch. I want to be Uncle Owen again. |

I know how you feel. I had to stop playing this and TSW for the same reason. More time wasted in Diablo 3. |

I understand the hesitation that is why I decided to only beta test a profession I wouldn't play at launch and remain in the human starter area. I chose the warrior thinking I wouldn't like it and now I wish I would have chosen something else because it is awesome. I don't understand the complaint about melee because the hammer can crunch the crap out of stuff and I love it. Get a good gun and the warrior is so much fun! Anyway, I'm trying everything so when it launches I have a clue as to how things work like crafting, traits, etc. the same old stuff that requires some goofing with to understand. I'm not going full into the game but just enough to learn. I did cheat myself a bit and went into Lions Arch and checked out the Mystic Forge and although it is nothing exciting I think it will be a fun aspect. Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not. |

i played first beta a lot(tested most classes), but skipped stress test and now only played for like 15min. Sux to do all in beta so when you get to release you don't enjoy it and get bored fast. On the other side you can do all in beta and only PvP at release :) |

Same here, just gonna do pvp so I don't ruin it when I log back in. |

This is why I've barely touched the PvE. Did about the 1st 15 levels of Norn open world content and PvP'ed with the Necro and Engineer (the 2 professions I'm least interested in). In the end I am enjoying my experience but not as much as I will come launch, when I finally allow myself to play the Elementalist.
Gotta have something to look forward to. |

I don't blame you. I played to lvl 9 just to get the jist of things, and then stopped. I mainly been PvPing in the mists, and playing with builds. "For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast, |

Originally posted by Amjoco The problem I had with my warrior was in DEs, how I would die in a heartbeat. Some of the DEs involving chapions I guess, the ones with the skull with horns icon on the map, is how I will die immediately as in one shotted. Surviveability last I check was the biggest complaint with the melee, especially since some of the DE's is a complete cluster fuck zerf fest. But yeah originally was going with a kitty engineer and slyvari necro but have fallen in lover with the warrior so might be doing kitty warr n kitty enineer for my first main toons to work on. Tried the Norn and not all that thrilled over em anymore, was but love the Charr too much. |

Exactly why I don't go over lvl 5 and don't unlock many things. xD Tried Human and Norn, all professions and all weapon combos for the lulz + crafting + some DEs. I know we can unlock more skills later and traits look awesome, but I want that experience for my permanent characters at launch. Now I know what my main will be and I'll be Sylvari (100%), so I didn't ruin the fun because we have no Sylvari yet. I'm glad I know how things work, everything will be easier at launch. Next BWE I might concentrate on PVP so I don't spoil PVE. I'm not a fan of PVP because I grew up on F2P games where PVP is for cash shoppers, so I got pwned all the time, I hope that GW2 can make me like PVP. :) It needs skills and tactics, not money and OP gear. Yay! (Sorry for my bad English). |

I have the same problem. I spend most of my time in WvW so i won't spoil too much of pve (I already did a little ^^:) but right now it's unplayable on my server so I will be taking screenshots probably =/ |

This is why i don't want to be in TSW beta. I want to be surprised by it, since it does looks amazing. |

same for me thats why i have made all my toons classes that i want to try in the charr area and basicly stayed there, yes i am a bit sick of that zone now, i will continue to stay here also, but at least all the other areas will be new to me when ever the game gets released!

Same. I got to level 10 and stopped because I'd like to experience it with a friend. |

got about 10 of my RL firends very interested in the game so we will probably start a guild at launch so yea same here... hoping launch isn't far off! I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |
