is this a persisent world mmo type of game or just a huge death match map with time limits (like BF3/MAG/Warhawk)?

ps2 is persistent, its a super super size map (world) whit bases that are the same size as fps maps on thier own that are conquerable by each fraction (kinda the point of the game) whitout loading screen (except when traveling from island to island or using warp games ..or however they are called)

I'm sorry, but I am a HUGE PS fan...  And this trailer is awful.  It has some really great clips of the game hidden within it, but overall its super embarrassing.  What were they thinking??

They would have been much better off letting some of the movie-making guilds from PS1 create a trailer for them.  There are some amazing PS1 videos out there, and I am sure we will see a ton of great PS2 videos... SOMEDAY.  This one feels cheap as s#(t.

Should've just used some of TotalBiscuit's footage or something. There is some pretty amazing footage of PS2 on YouTube and this trailer was not it.

With that said, I can't wait to play this game.

Planetside 1 is still one of the best games I ever played.  I have high hopes for Planetside 2.  Since PS1 no game can compare to the scale of it.  PS 1 was 133 vs 133 vs 133 on one continent.  Most continents would take couple minutes to go from one side to the other in the fastest vehicles.  On foot you are talking 15-30 minutes in a straight line.

I expect a lot from Planetside 2, I hope they deliver.

Eh. Now I remember why I wasn't into PS1 despite being a major shooter and MMO fan. I'll wait another 5-10 years for better technology. I'm not sure how this is any different from the Free to Play Tribes game out except for the better vehicles. I want clan owned outposts and territories to defend and fight over like in Shadowbane or maybe Eve.

i might even make this my Main MMO, damn, so tough to choose which MMO would be your main in 2013

I agree ... I hated that nobody could own anything, but it will still be f2p and massive battles.

Sorry, but only an idiot wouldn't like this game, nor appreciate it for it's refreshing take on just about everything. In a world of regurgitated shit video games, this is one of the few that stands out.
