TBC was good as it held still a glimpse of achievemnt to do even a dungeon on heroic mode, nothing compared to UBRS, but still the same feeling. WOTLK breeded the wrath babies who became spoodfed kids who whined and whined to make wow easier. Cataclysm become the real world of instand craft where you dint even need to leave your city to do stuff. MOP the ultimate baby game for kung fu panda's and pokemon.
Lets hope MOP fails so hard that the current developers get a instand kick right out of the office.
And for the love of god and all that is holy bring us GW2 before MoP is released..... http://speedtest.net/result/2112016336.png |

I won't mind MoP if and only if I can avoid playing pandas and play the new class. Monk sounds like a "heep" of fun. |

Nah, I honestly believe this expansion is the worst, worse than Cataclysm and could spell the end for WoW already. The pet battles thing is a really bad idea, this is not Pokemon you know. The pandas are probably the worst idea in terms of pvp because it's just going to be pandas vs pandas now everywhere now, it's stupid. Pandas are just not cool. Played: Aion, Allods Online, AoC, Champions Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Earth Eternal, EQ2, Knights Online, LotRO, Runes of Magic, WAR, WoW. |

Guildwars 2: -no monthly fee -cool WvWvW PvP -no item grind -interesting PvE concepts (personal story, dynamic events) -battleground without item-grind and without waiting cues -awesome combat
So why pay for an expansion and pay a fee every month, if I can get a new game with much better graphics and better content and good PvP?
I think GW2 will draw a lot players away from WoW. And do not forget TSW and Planetside! Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. |

Why didn't it happen with GW1?
Millions of people LOVE WoW, and will continue to love it. That's a fact.
A lot of WoW players might get GW2 but they'll probably keep their WoW sub too.
WoW is a great game, if you don't like it, don't play it and move on. |

Well said, the mere fact Gw2 is free, that the main fact why it won't hurt wow sub numbers. If it wasn't free person would face the challenge of picking one sub game. If anything Gw2 is a compliment to go along side Wow. I would say Gw2 will try to get persons away from D3 but some of those same D3 player are also Wow players just pasting time. |

Blizz is so afraid to announce or reveal there next mmo because nothing really has caught up and they fear they will probably slay themselves, so why hurry to kill your own product.. Unless they bundle the subscription, make it like $20 a month sub for both games.
If its one thing other dev grudge blizz for its there fan base.. the fans let it seem like every game they release is godly, with crazy sales numbers.. |

I dont care if any new MMO dethrones WoW or not...as long as they are fun and dont feel like a god damn job like WoW does. “I hope we shall crush...in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." ~Thomes Jefferson |

I doubt that anyone will knock Blizzard of the MMO throne any time soon, but MOP is the biggest crock they have ever put out. Kung Fu Panda and Pokemon?!?! C'mon they are trying to addict every age group because they know this expansion like Cata is hot garbage. |

If cosmetics aren't content, why don't people demand a cheaper game done in full grayscale? |

Nothing in MoP is very appealing to me, at all. I'm 32 now, and I've played WoW since release. Pokemon? No. Pandas? No. Did they add anything really inovative at all? Nope, not that I've seen. Dumbing down the trees until there are -no- trees (notice one of the biggest gripes in D3 was utter lack of getting to choose talents like in the old days), account-bound achievements? Really? Make the game even -easier-? That's coming from a -casual- player, too. The game is so damned boringly, mind numbingly easy now I haven't bothered to really play since Cata released. No elite mobs in the leveling areas (unless you get a huge group of NPCs to help, whoopee big challenge in that), super fast leveling, and at the end of the game what do you do? Oh, grind dailies. Or go get a bunch of pointless achievements that really don't mean anything since achievement points can't be spent. Fun.
I -was- looking forward to updated PC models but then they said those wouldn't release with MoP. I was also hoping they'd realize that player housing is awesome (DIFFERENT than guild housing, which was what -did- kill the community in EQ2, individual player housing did -not-), but nope, not that either. Monk doesn't interest me. New talents sure as hell don't. The cutesy Pokemon idea does not. The idea of grinding more dailies and boring dungeons as "end game" does not. The old carrot on a stick is looking pretty rotten at this point. I won't even pick up MoP until it goes on sale, if it ever does. If it doesn't? Meh. Obviously not going to be missing much. |

I can't imagine returning to WOW again. This will be the first expansion I won't buy on release. I think they've run the well dry at this point. |

I've bought every other WoW xpac but I'm really not interested in this one at all. I can't imagine grinding for purples for another year just to stand around town and queue endlessly. It's not just WoW that's dead for me, it's the type of game in general. Exploration isn't necessary in WoW anymore. no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |
