It's a dungeon crawler. I think that's a love it or leave it kind of thing. I'm still on the fence about them. I think $20 for TL2 is not too much, but $60 for D3 strikes me as excessive. ** edit ** He's good at getting a description of the game in there, along with the humor and negative comments. It's almost as if just telling you what's wrong with a game gives you a more accurate idea of what the game is than telling you what's right with the game. Join the League For Gamers. |

Originally posted by DarkPony I actually appreciate Yahtzee for that negativity and don't think it's purely for comedy, it's a bit of honesty in an industry otherwise permanently stitched to each other's holes like a human centipede. Quite often his thoughts mirror at least in part my own, and in this particular video they mirror the complaints of many Diablo 3 players themselves. Seems pretty much on point. Not that it matters. At this point players can complain all they want about the game they bought in droves, not stopping Kotick from wiping his ass with their tears and dollar bills. That was too funny. He cracks me up even when I don't agree with him. I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil |

Spot on. Blizzard should stick to making cutscenes, BioWare should stick to writing stories, and Bethesda should stick to designing game mechanics. Then have the three companies work together, and we might get some games that don't have as many catastrophic flaws as they do epic elements. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. |

That guy kills me. Some of the stuff he comes up with...lol 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

He always does an excellent job in pointing out that what we enjoy doing sometimes seems rather foolish and can be easily mocked by outsiders. But that would be true about the whole genre of computer gaming now, wouldn't it. Not exactly something most of us put on our resumes is it?

Let's just face it. D3 is a bad game with bad itemization, bad presentation of story and a poor implementation of difficulty. |
