http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/05/26/the-tattered-notebook-the-passing-of-ribbitribbitt/ "Ribbitribbitt, the young EQII fan who had been battling cancer, passed away at the age of six. A couple of months ago, the EQII community got a request for assistance in building an in-game playground from his mother, and what followed was an unprecedented show of support. His mother, Myrose, passed along the sad news to the community this past week with a brief forum post, and the community mourned his loss." I wasn't a part of the event unfortunatly, so i send my condolences to the mother and family of the young boy. The worst part was that apperently he qualifies for a clinical trial but didn't make it. Sad day. |

Such a sad thing. Anything I can say seems so out of place, except simply my condolences. I wish I could say more. Once upon a time.... |

Always a sad day when someone that young dies, never getting to experience life and as a parent you always expect your kids to outlive you, not the other way around. It was nice to see that the gaming community could come together and put aside all the arguing, trolling, and everything else and give this child some hapiness in a game he enjoyed. |

If Ribbitribbitt's parents visit these forums: My deepest sympathies and most heartfelt sorrow for your loss. This is truly a sad thing to read. May strength carry you through these times, and peace come to you and yours, knowing that he suffers no more.
Be strong, and God bless. |

Very sorry for the parents loss , nice to have seen the EQ2 commnunity do something for the child in game , and the trolls in this thread obviously have no children of their own. Making light or jokes about someone losing a young child is one of those things that goes beyond any excuse.

Go in piece young man. I am happy you had such a good Mother that she actually invovled you in her life. I am sorry to hear you are gone, but at least you had some great times in your 6 years. And to the Mother, you are awesome! Disregard those 2 posters and thier hatred for Human socitey and life. But anyone like you that involves your child into your life as you did means so much to the Human race in general. To me it means we still actually love and care for each other. Again thanks to the OP for posting this. |

Unfortunately, we are going to have to lock this as a couple of inconsiderate people have ruined what was an otherwise well-intentioned thread. Michael "MikeB" Bitton |
