This is like going to a clothing store and buying a bunch of clothes and wearing them for three weeks and then they have a discount sale and you walk back in and demand you get refunded the difference between the regular price you payed three weeks ago and the current sale. 

 

Good read though, the guy posted it on forums expecting everyone to agree with him, he actually made the post complaining EMEs customer service is bad because of this chat he had with TWO GMs, since when did all the gamers become so entitled. -.-

 

The best part is him saying "you won't give me a measly 12.50 to satisfy me" well, you see, if they did that for him, they'd have to do it everybody.

 

Oh and the GM saying "your welcome" after he goes on his tirade about posting it everywhere. xD

How do people have such unrealistic expectations when it comes to customer service? 

En masse goes above and beyond.  Totally unreal the things people can find to complain about.

En masse goes above and beyond.  Totally unreal the things people can find to complain about.

Still though I have to admit sending a newsletter to customers that have already bought the game urging them to buy it for a 25% discount is pretty damn underhanded. They should have a way of filtering people who already bought the game to avoid such frustration instead they shoot themselves in the foot by sending it to everyone.

So whether the OP was right or not is irrelevant - you just don't do that En Masse.

That I can agree with.

They should have done some sort of trial thing to bring in more players and then after a time done discounts.

I guess?  However, most people who buy a computer product know that its out dated as soon as you leave the store, be it soft ware or hardware.  Why is this game any different?

Most software has sales to try to increase interest, this is very standard pratice.

I mean I guess it sucks you were in some way 'offended' they sent an email to you when its not applicable, but I mean it all seems really obvious to me...

Caveat Emptor, its so old of a concept its latin.

Buyer, Beware.  You are your only and best advocate.

Not to mention you asked when they were gonna turn on the Nexus for you, since they have done it in EU. I asume you knew it was only turned on for testing during the 25th and 26th, not actually enabled them full on. Another great example of people who are unable to read and therefor demand the strangest things...

Also, if not the GMs, who should I ask? This no clipping issue is annoying as hell and the devs themselves are not forthcomign with information so I'd rather ask someone rather than noone.

I work as a GM for a gaming company and do support for 3 mmo's and to be honest I kinda look forward to getting these idiots.  What retards like this don't understand is you have a room full of people all laughing at your ridiculous behaviour and couldn't care less if you rage quit.  Your being a jerk.  I don't talk to dev's nor do they talk to me.  Put it on the forums or submit an in game petition.  If you get stuck in a wall or accidently delete an item by all means let us know.  I had a guy threaten my company with "legal" action if we didn't refund his 5 dollars (which he used on in game currency to buy an item).  Stop making GM's into your babysitters.

lol its "Generation Me", they want it all and everyone to have their answers or else.

I feel bad for GMs. They must get bombarded with the most ridiculous things. I mean there was even a topic once about a guy upset because Gamestop told him you can re-customize your character in TERA after you create them, then he gets mad when the customization option appeared in the cash shop. And he even went as far as to report EM to BBB.

I guess clipping is serious business.
