Originally posted by Yuui So you said the sales are built upon misinformation supported by factual evidence. Source? You said Blizzard bought reviews and its supported by evidence. Source? Its true that the same individuals that made the original Diablo (and the not entirely same people) that made Diable2 didn't make Diablo 3. Whats your point? You then state that D3 is the target of gold sellers and hackers. What does Blizzard have to do with that? Thats like blaming Microsoft for being the biggest target of real hackers that actually ruin peoples lives and damage companies. Your bulleted points in a previous post is severely lacking in any facts as well. Other than point 6 which is true for any succesful game (and is by no means a negative).
If you want to spout off using the words "facts" and "evidence" you need to be prepared to provide these facts and evidence or sources. If not, then you are no better than a troll. |

Blizzard has no accountability anymore due to its fanboi's so why try? Keep repackaging the same game over and over and selling it to them again. It happened with SC2, it happend with D3, just keep it going and laugh all the way to the bank. |

Originally posted by Coolit I forgot about that. It would be interesting to know. Personally, I don't get the D3 hype. It's looks like the same isometric action-RPG from 10 years ago with slightly better graphics. Diablo looks like a clone of itself and with F2P and $20 action-RPG alternatives ... seems kind silly to buy D2.5 for $60. If you don't worry about it, it's not a problem. |

Originally posted by HurricanePip i guess maybe most people don't care about graphic styles as much as posters here do? look how popular minecraft is. ive never had a problem with the isometric view i actually really like it, i can barely stand all the first person view games..gives me headaches. i personally like more stylized graphics then realistic...although i do love skyrims graphics..but too many games that go for realism end up making it look bad and i can't stand it lol. I'm not surprised... I have very few friends who are gamers yet I know several people playing Diablo 3, which is several more than I have ever known to play pretty much anything. I have been playing and it is a good game, very similar to D2, and high quality for what it is. In my opinion, the high #'s reflect its marketing more than its quality, but Blizzard still 'has it'. I don't like what WoW has done to the MMO genre but I am a fan of Blizzard and have played all their games (aside from WoW expansions). Play as your fav retro characters: cnd-online.net. Some of the most fun and addicting experience I've had in awhile. Just hit 60 tonight and I can't wait to mess around with more builds and gear combinations on my Witch Doctor. Great game. I never played D1 or D2 so hack and slash is a little new to me but I must say, D3 has got a lot going for it. Its super casual, but has super hardcore elements as well. It doesn't require long gaming sessions. Its easy to jump in and play with people that are different levels. Also, its so fun to theorycraft. Seriously. Everybody I talk to loves the fact that you can change your abilities at any time. I think its fantastic. One moment I will be soloing and need a strong CC/kite build and the next moment I'll be with some friends and can switch to a super strongmnuking/aoe build. Awesome. Can't wait to see whats in store for pvp. |

Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but: With the exception of PvP, there will not be any content patches at all for D3. Only balancing and bug fixes. There's a Blizzard comment about this on the EU D3 forums. Sorry, too lazy to dig up a link now, but search for yourself if you need proof. |

Originally posted by Dreamysher28 How many COPIES of WoW have sold over it's lifetime? A few more than 6.3 million i'll wager.
Remember, WoW numbers are ACTIVE SUBSCRIBERS, D3 has no subs fee so it's impossible to know how many people are actually playing form the info provided, be careful comparing apples and oranges. |
