On one side, it probably just means that they're going to do bug fixes, etc, from the bwe, but that just leaves 2 weekends (if i'm not mistaken) before launch, and no pvp or any of the 7 other areas for now. I expect maybe the Savage Coast and BG's only before release, but if they don't test that Warzone in OB, it might be a very bad sign. |

Happy "I told you so" thread? You could have just given the information... Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. |

Works for me. Next BWE they better have more to show for the folks than a few missions. |

Originally posted by pupurun It's not Tortage 2.0 I don't have to explain to you why. I can just say that of all the things that people whom are in Closed Beta have been breaking even on this very site, the one thing that no one has been saying is lack of content. At least not to the extent of AoC at launch. And Tortage 2.0 isn't really a new idea. People been wrongly accusing TSW of that for weeks now.

Originally posted by jdnyc Hell they still dont have all the quests in for Kingsmouth that they have in CB. And in CB they still are adding new missions to all zones left and right. So stop bitching like you have a right to see the whole game. Your even lucky they let you see this much. |

Originally posted by DarkDemon69 Just because we haven't seen it, doesn't mean it's Tortage. Let's not start with the doom and gloom until one has played all the way to the "max level"
BTW, DarkDemon and jdnyc, hasn't the NDA been taken down yet? I think it's been over since the BWE started, or was it just for the press. Seems weird not lifting it this close to launch. |

Originally posted by DarkDemon69 Sorry, but I don't believe a single word out of the mouth of Closed Beta testers anymore! Not after the whole debacle with Age of Conan! As there CB'ers were breaking NDA too by saying how wonderful the game was, how it was ready and complete, how wonderful PVP was and everyone was wrong blablabla.... ... we all know how that ended up right? They were lying through their teeth along with Funcom employees EE and GD! So give me a friggin' break!
These Public beta weekends have been far too restrictive for my taste! Never seen a dev doing this so close to launch! Oh wait.... Funcom with Age of Conan. You only do that if you have something to hide! Hell, even EA/Bioware didn't had these extreme restrictions with their Public Beta weekends of SW:TOR! Rest my case. PS. Funcom is also pretty much the only dev house that never lifts NDA's of their Closed Beta's. Also food for thought! |

Originally posted by DarkDemon69 You realize that according to the NDA, closed beta testers aren't even supposed to acknowledge that they're in the beta, right? "Loading screens" are not "instances". |

Originally posted by jdnyc I am a non-CB tester, as I pre-ordered the game. So I have been in both weekends and was not impressed. Especially the second one. |

Originally posted by JeroKane I understand that and I see you have major reservations. The only way to know for sure that the game will have more than you fear is to wait for launch and see what people have to say once the blow through Kingsmouth content. That should take a few days max. Then you'll start hearing about The Savage Coast at the very least. |

What would closed beta testers have to gain by "lying through their teeth"? Maybe they just actually enjoyed what was going on after Tortage or ..in this case...Kingsmouth. While others were disappointed and expected more. Doesn't mean anyones lying. Oh..that's right ..most closed beta testers are relatives or shills for Funcom. Fucking absurd. |

If anybody's worried that Kingsmouth is Tortage 2.0, you could just wait a couple of weeks after launch before buying. By then, i'm sure there'll be players to already reached endgame and can tell you if there's enough content. |
