Originally posted by Maephisto GW2 has no launch date though. Most people assume it's going to come out in late summer or early fall. But honestly, you can play GW2 and TSW together fine. My guild and I plan on doing that. TSW for the PvE and GW2 for the PvP. |

Pretty much. That is, if you can stand killing mob, after mob, after mob with the same 2 (or every now and then), 3 skills. |

No but seriously, why even consume the electricity for the time you spent writing this post. 10 min and you think you can provide valid critical information? Lol not even for the worst game in history you cannot give a valid assessment after 10 min. You simply "feel" that you are entitled to bash a game for your temporary mood. Heh yep you really need to change genre or completely forget computer games. |

I don't think it takes more than 5 minutes of playing to realize the game is not for you, but hey.. everyone has opinions right?

I can relate to what the OP is saying....The first few minutes are pretty brutal, especially if you're looking to actually playing the game and not watching tons of cutscenes...... |

I've spent alot more time then the OP playing it, and I'd echo the sentiments. While I dont have a problem with the story, I personally made the mistake of paying a sub fee for a single player game already (SWTOR), and I wont do it again. With that said, the game just seems dated. Graphics are frankly ugly. Combat is beyond clunky, something that you wont be able to fix from now until release. Quest system is the standard blah blah we've been there done that. The only thing I can really say good about the game is the classless system, which is fabulous, even if it seems a bit shallow at first glance. I cant say for sure since a weekend simply isnt enough time to level up as high as you need, etc.
All in all I'll pass and keep awaiting GW2, which to my mind simply makes this game look like a giant pile of shit. Comparing both beta weekends was simply laughable at the quality difference.

I know what the OP is trying to say. Instead of giving away what the secret world is through a hand holding story guide. How about a blank world map that the player has to find and investigate what the secret world is about on their own terms. Taking a quest that gives a specific location on a already opened map is kinda taking the fun out of the whole secrecy thing.

If you can't give a game an hour or two before ragequitting then I have to question why you even bothered trying it in the first place, your post says a lot more about you as a gamer than it does about the game. You're burned right the hell out I think, I'd avoid MMO's altogether and go load up some arcade games on a console or something, work that Jade outta your system. |

Originally posted by Skuz More about validating ones own opinion to prove themselves right I think. It's his choice. I'm loving the game, but I acknowledge that it has some big flaws. Question is if the flaws outweigh what's good about it. That's going to be a subjective answer that we all have to make. |

This game takes longer than 10-mins to get into. And wait you didn't like the story? I hated that there was too much of it in SWToR and you had to skip dialogue from all sidequests because 90% of them were utter tripe. But in TSW the writing is superb, the characters are interesting. When did you ever recall meeting a questgiver/NPC that actually was interesting? Besides when was the last time you remember actually using your brain when building your character? 10-mins for an MMO is not enough to start juding it. |

Anyone that doesn't at least try the investigation quests is doing themselves a disservice.
