Im not sure if its just down , not working,  but the update keep failing.   Server up?

Anyone else getting the  " Update Failed!. (Error: Could not copy graphics.jar to graphics.jars.bak) ?  Can you guys log on? Anyone ?

Im getting download but it just stops at 100% and no play button active

Had the same problem last night.  All you have to do is go into your C drive and your users folder.  Open the folder with your username on it and find the wurm folder inside.  Delete the folder and the next time you open up wurm it will ask if you want to install.  Go through the install process and it will work.

Delete the Graphics.jar file and it will downlod a fresh one 226mb and the game will launch\login then.

Seems like a problem with the new patcher.

Yep It works,.  Just deleted the folder named  PACK and it re downloaded the updates and now im in. THanks guys

What does the error say under pack updates, are you getting "Update Failed!. (Error: Could not copy graphics.jar to graphics.jars.bak)" or is it a different error?

It doesn't even make it that far, it starts downloading and freezes on wooden chest files and won't go any further

I wonder how much personal info was stolen like credit card, bank, passwords, and paypal.

Rolf if any of that info was stolen or accessed you need to send out mass emails telling everyone that their credit card and other personal info is not secure. Those people need to get their accounts frozen before whomever uses their info to make purchases. If you don't have any of their email info then you need to put it on the main site that any and all account related information has been compromised if you are not 100% sure it has not been and cannot confirm it wasn't you need to do the right thing.

As far as i'm aware , only the website ( PhP ) was compromised as has already been said .

The shop itself isn't part of the forums / wiki , and neither is account info .

It's not  a hack in terms of what your thinking , . It is more of a security vulnerability in PhP that was exploited , and allowed code to be added to the website itself that downloaded malicous stuff when you went onto that page .

Hence why they shut down the website as soon as it was spotted .

Been at 0% for a hour now and no progress on the downloading of the packs.

Not that it bothers me much just hoping the devs won't have to much trouble with fixing stuff after the attack.

My Wurm client attempted to update, got stuck on not being able to update the graphics.jar.bak file after update d/l. I deleted packs but this did not help.

I finally completely uninstalled Wurm and cleaned everything up, and installed again. Success.

(yes I said a few weeks ago on these forums I quit MMOs... I did. I quit all the "Normal" MMOs I was playing and cheering for. I still play Wurm a little, but it's not a normal MMO... it's better in many ways imho.)

all i am getting is the small java window with "unable to launch application" :(

Could log on earlier today. Now i click to play on the webpage and nothing. Get a page not found. WTF. When Rolf says this will be sorted out in a few weeks I hope he meant WURM weeks, not real weeks. Otherwise his game may die.
