Played the open beta and pre-ordered the CE.

So, no Sir I support Blizzard and it was about time for Diablo 3.

I'll buy D3, but I really hope there is faming bot in D3 so the RMAH gets raped.

Probably just play D3 if it's all the same. Kaching.

Actually, on 5/15 I'm going to boycott every game that isn't D3.

That's right folks, I will be boycotting Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sonic 2, Wizard101, Star Wars Galaxies (as well as SW kinect), Team Fortress 2, Half-life 3, super meat boy, Perfect Dark, Tera, GW 2, Diablo 1 & 2, Final Fantasy (all), that Katamari thing, Guitar Hero, Minecraft, eve online, Super Mario Rpg, Metroid, Dead Space, TSW, Solitaire (Klondike, spider, AND frecell) Pokemon, Civlization series, Starcraft, WoW, Gunstar Heroes, Monopoly, SWTOR, Myst, did I mention Diablo 2?, Perfect World, Tribes: Ascend, Planetside, minesweeper, Fallen Earth, Madden AND NCAA football games, Football manager, that train game thats always spamming up my steam feed, Star Trek Online, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Project Zomboid, Xcom, Deer Hunter, Portal, TESO and all Elder Scrolls games, Zoo Tycoon for the iPHone, Farcry 1, 2, and 3, Crysis, Magic the gathering, GTA 1-5, and many more.  

It's mainly the pastels that got me hooked.

You must never have played D2, because all three of those are going to do no good.

Why would I re-install diablo which I've restarted multiple times on ladder to get 99 with perfect gear.

D3 nay-sayers are fucking dumb.

How odd, I mean, I am waiting anxiously for D3 and I STILL have D2 loaded on my PC... If you don't like it, stick with D2... How simple is that?

You do know that a piece of mind can go both ways, right?

I'm recommending the above strategy for D3 protest.  It works well for the monks out East, it should work just as well for the people living in the past.  Don't bother playing PoE or D2, Blizzard will be sure to get the message.

I just finished D2 ,  I bought it again since my old copy got lost years ago.

The graphics were terrible resolution wise but the game play was pretty awesome . I dont remember it looking so blury but I guess we have been spoilt by HD resolution :)

Can't wait for D3 ,  why would you not play it lol ?

I don't plan on buying diablo III, and would probably even consider myself a Blizzard hater, but even I think the OP is taking it too far.

Why would you say that the game won't have the cheaters and hackers? I don't see any reason why having an easier way of retrieving your profits would make the cheating less. I would think it would be just as prevalent, if not more.

Actually I think everyone is being too dismissive here.

I think it is a decent idea IF you feel strongly about the trend to let RMT mix with gameplay. I feel strongly about it because I think what we will end up with is casinos not games, shopping instead of adventuring, gameplay designed to optimize profits. Which saddens the ageing geek inside me that experienced the relatively uncomplicated gaming world in its infancy.

Also, Blizzard is revolting these days - bringing in pets to the cash shop in WoW and using charity to muddy the waters and help establish the precedent is a fine example. Heck, most of the MMO industry is now disgusting, having been swept up in the free to p(l)ay movement. The irony is that so many of you players out there, along with the staff on this site, have been manipulated into being such good little consumers that you'll be defending gaming companies no matter what they try on.
